Just back in from Pomeroy. Omagh looked good actually despite their league position and will give any of the remaining teams left in the SFC a game of it. Callum Daly is an excellent player at half back.

In the 2nd game thought Loughmacrory were home and hosed at half time. Was a great fightback from the Clarkes and they also missed plenty of chances throughout. Would be interesting to see the wide count/shot into keepers hands in comparison for both sides.

The Clarkes need to do better on kickouts especially after getting a big score. Loughmacrory always seemed to go straight up the field and get ahead again.

The referee was too inconsistent. Too many incidents to mention but thought the Loughmacrory No.6 was a lucky boy not to see red.

Just seen what you are on about. Appears to be a water bottle. I would imagine that the sub was giving the supporters stick before hand, and also that the club will bill him for the loss of their water bottle.

In 2020 when both teams drew there was extra time. Think if there was ET today the Clarkes might have edged it especially with McCullagh off the pitch.

Think the replay could go the whole way to penalties.

Entertaining game in pomeroy yesterday.
Dungannon seems to be a bogey team for Loughmacory. The last time these two met lough were up by 5 with ten to go and lost (in the old rules were a five point lead was game over)
Lough leak goals unfortunately, felt similar to the carrickmore replay last year, far superior team but kept letting them back in with goals.
Think lough are far better overall and it's hard to see them not take the replay. Although paul will unlikely play as bad as he did yesterday.
Regarding the ref i feel he was grand. Lough 12 and 6 could have got double yellows, no 14 correctly did. Dungannon 14 and 15 could have got straight reds, but sure if the ref did all that we would be complaining he made it all about him.

Tbf they came out second best to Donaghmore last year in the game of the championship ( 3 wides total that day.)
Today on the other-hand they threw it away. Trillick were poor overall and missed a bagfull. Individual performances by the brennans is what got them over the line.
Gabally no.15 had two opportunities from dead-ball to take it through and fluffed them. Ultimately cant be making those errors if you're serious contenders.
Just cant put my finger on it. Their inside three as good as any in the county and very strong and well rehearsed midfield. Are they just missing that top cut player to dictate a game for them? I fear they've very little time to figure it out before this golden crop of players becomes irrelevant.

What is their record in senior championship the past while? I remember a win v Pomeroy one year but can't think of any others. That is a sickener yesterday in fairness to them, big underdogs and looking so good with 15 left, be a hard one to take. The highlights on Tyrone GAA Youtube that last free in for Trillick looked like a very light hand on the back more than a push
