Yeah I don't get it the refusal at times to play the ball into the box or have a shot and instead play it sideways is unreal, is it a tactic to just confuse the defense for not taking half decent chances

The 2008 Spain team were an enjoyable outfit. But since then its been this same dross. Pep ball is effective but sucks any enjoyment out of a game.

Awful goal keeping ffs

Both goals Belgium conceded was from poor goal keeping and two Keepers who have been good for their clubs.

Much like Spain v Portugal a late goal in a poor match avoids extra-time.

France v Spain probably won't be a great watch either?

Agree with a lot of the above so reluctant to be off the cuff always safety first. First shot from distance results in a goal. Never drive it across the box always a cut back which is inevitably cleared. Frustrating

Yeah himself and the 3 Portugal midfielders were in top form during the season, seen little or nothing from them in the World Cup
