Mayo were 2 forwards off a very good starting team, had it all everywhere else, had they had them, they won 1 or 2 All-Irelands. Never would got a bench like Dublins though.

Mayo had the top scoring forward in the country and footballer of the year forward who is the current manager.

Mayo issues in All Ireland finals was the habit of conceding soft goals, discipline and some strange decisions by management.

back on track.
Mayo resemble Netherlands, 3 times runners up , twice  semi finalists and one could not say the Netherlands bottled it on the day.

Brazil = Down. Used to be good back in the 20th century, still play the odd good game, but are generally useless.

Here's a challenge for you.

Write the name of every Down person you know on a piece of paper.

Then for each, try to recall the last time you heard them talk about Down as a force, or even a sleeping giant.

If it's happened in the past 10 years, put a tick beside their name.

I suspect you'll end up with zero ticks.

No Brazil are Kilkenny. Won it more times than anyone else but haven't won it in years, but when they were winning were probably some of greatest players/teams to ever play the game.
Nordie Tayto is shite

Some consolation for Donegal to say they lost at home to Brazil.  Tailteann Cup final Brazil v ??

Was Cork done yet? Team with one of the biggest picks having spent a decade outside Division 1 and now over a decade since winning a match in Croke Park.

The irony of an Armagh numpty thinking in centuries, when they sat idle for a full one :)

Couldn't. Make. It. Up.

On the contrary, Armagh won Ulster championships 70 years before Down.

I think there was a few ticks on the list after the win against Donegal this year!
