Kickouts a shambles and have been for a long time, keeper not good enough and neither is the strategy.

Galway win the game with a bit too spare if they breakeven on them.

Anyone got the free count?

Just wish we'd been beaten with no big talking points, that's what makes it harder to take.

Gough should never get a game at this level.

Quote from: Killala on June 28, 2026, 07:14:19 PMTo be fair Louth are the only unbeaten team of the four. So I suppose they have been pretty formidable to date. Would love to see them in a final but Mayo might be due good fortune. Would be happy for either to make the final.

They lost to Dublin by 10 points

Separate competition

Apart from when it comes to qualifying for the competition and who you can draw in it
NFL qualifies 7 teams, TC qualifies 1, Provincials qualify 8 ( with a perk)
All separate competitions.

Mayo got a better reward from Omagh than Tyrone did.

They may get to AI final but they will be beat by Kerry. Tyrone had a decent draw and got kerry at ideal time...better would have been before white was back buy hey ho.

The competition now is for second place

This is the All Ireland series thread. Regardless of qualification criteria Louth still unbeaten in the series.

Poor old referees always to blame. Galway six points up and cruising, lazy tackling makes the decision penalty decision for the referee. Galway penalty shout, ref gives foul on Walsh so free shot for two pointer which he misses. Called back and the free is missed as well.

From the Bunker

As a neutral - I didn't want either Dublin or Galway to win. But at a push - I wanted Galway to lose.

With that in mind - how in the F*ck did David Gough get a Dublin game?
The lad lives and works in Dublin. He gave all the tight calls to Dublin.
There is no doubt about that.

Walsh and his trusty left boot. Clownshow but ultimately Joyces fault for not nipping that in the bud

But he had a great game in the All Ireland four years ago.

Well Bunk are ye getting even a little biteen excited?
The jackeen bandwagon back rolling anyway.

On a side note Gavin Devlin comes across as a very likeable guy.

I'd say the players must have great time for him.

Hon the Wee County

The final between the only two teams to beat Armagh, that would be reasonable.
Can Armagh claim a Bronze medal out of it?

Getting a team in their 1st semi-final since 1957 is fortune enough.  After losing to Tyrone they got good fortune to draw Division 2 opposition in Meath who went to pieces with 14 men and Cork who's shooting was woeful.

Louth's season has similar vibes to Fermanagh in 04 who Mayo narrowly beat in the semi-final after a replay.

Ignore the final 15 minutes. Before all that he gave Dublin 3 or 4 frees on kick outs. Galway got zero. Are you telling me only Galway were fouling going up for kick outs? Give me a break.

Plenty to criticise Galway for today. Kick outs, certain players not performing, etc. But the least you expect is fair play from the ref.

befair

Penalty and black card was excessive; Galway had their chances tho, 6 pts up and cruising, once the dubs got a few scores back you could see them combusting

DaleCooper

Dubs could in theory scalp Kerry. They won 68% of all kickouts...though Kerry has an actual strategy rather than hit/hope.

Louth into an All Ireland final against a team they have beaten.

Please God let it be.

Galway supporters must be fed up at this point.  A lot of people would have expected them to push on and win the All-Ireland with that team and especially this year with fewer injuries.
Gough has had a terrible year.

That's just, like your opinion man.
