You'd have to wonder if the Ulster Championship is so competitive that it becomes more difficult to play outside of it. I'd have had three Ulster teams as potential favourites, and after all the hard slog in the Ulster Championship it will be the other three provinces providing the semi finalists.

Unbelievable. Some great stories and games so far. 2 excellent quarter finals, 1 not great but competitive at least.

Fantastic performance by Louth. Just went for it after the sending off. Stayed in the game, hung in there for the 10 mins after it and got that big 2 pointer right on half-time.


Again steadied the ship after O'Hanlon's goal. Just hung in there. Deserved the win. Got a huge boost off the bench. Brought great energy when needed.


Every player a hero, none moreso than big Mc Donnell and Mulroy.

It's an absolutely enormous factor. Didn't seem bitter to me but would be silly not to mention it.
