Rewatched the semi final last night for first time since actually being at it. We actually had the perfect first half bar taking our opportunities.

Absolutely cleaned Kerry out in midfield and they had an off day themselves, their goal just before half time was the killer.

McCurry just didn't have the shooting boots on and DC didn't get on much ball at all.

Kerry are outrageous favourites tomorrow but if we can get our efficiency up around 70% and kerry have a rare odd day then we might have the smallest chance. Tyrone will always bring that confidence and even thought Kerry have beat us well the last two times we met our lads will fully believe they can win.

A bit like the Armagh game last week (at least per my memory) Tyrone started well and were well on top in the kickout stakes. Gradually Kerry began to assert themselves and led at HT. A few minutes of the second half Tyrone stayed in touch but Kerry stretched away and kept them at arm's length thereafter.

Playing Kerry under these rules can be ,a bit like the guy that jumped off the cliff and half way down felt that he was doing fine. All of a sudden, you have a few two pointers or goals in a row and the game is gone. With Clifford rampant such things are quite probable.

Yep thats why they remind me of the Dubs. You can put it up to them and compete for 50mins then they seem to turn it on.

Its just quality and chemistry of that group, esp the forward unit and its running.

Kerry are substantially more physically imposing than Tyrone. This "hit them a few digs and they will wilt" stuff is serious copium.

It would be mental tactics from Tyrone to go down that road. We actually played very well last year in the semi final. There was a 15 minute spell in the 2nd half where Kerry pulled away and were 10 up at one point. We will see similar to last year from Tyrone and hope that we do it slightly better and Kerry don't be quite on it as they were.

Tyrone are 5/1 in the bookies. A bit long maybe.

11/2 on Paddy Power. Has to be the biggest price for a championship game in 30/40 years?? I don't think Tyrone were as long as that in 2018 AI Final they had no chance of winning v peak Dublin

The opposite way to look at it is Kerry have embraced the new rules and yes they have the players to exploit it but other teams, Donegal for one but there is others, spend their time trying to control the game and take the game back to where it was before the rule changes.

Kerry can be beat, other teams just need to have a real cut at it and take their opportunities. This is the big unknown for us as well have the potential to turn it on on any given day, whether we do or not will be clear around 7pm on Saturday.
