Cost mayo that game

O'Shea was brought on by Andy. It's up to Andy to make the big calls. The game was lost in the final minutes when Mayo had an overlap and a clear goal chance, but the player in possession bottled it and took the easy option point. That's where the game was lost.

Dazzler is who Shane Walsh thinks he is. Two ridiculous scores with his weaker right

Subs picks coming up..

Donegal V Cork Donegal get pipped by a swashbuckling Cork team
Galway V Westmeath Galway by 5+
Tyrone V Mayo Tyrone finally put a performance together to beat a bang average Mayo outfit
Louth V Armagh Louth have banned the sale of buckfast for 5 miles so crowd is dull & Armaghs shooting efficency finally catches up to them

Derry V Meath Forget about injuries Meath will swat away any hopes of a revival from Derry
Kildare V Kerry Yera Yera the Kingdom by at least a handful
Cavan V Dublin Dublin in dissaray will scrape by Cavan
Monaghan V Roscommon Monaghans age and overall form finally catch up in the AI

I'll look forward to the rest of these results coming in..

UP THE REBELS!

Had I known about roscommons sickly talisman id have called that differently too. 6/7 not bad at all.

Great end to a good weekend of football Look forward to Quarters now with Tyrone.  8)  8)

I was wondering how they  were going to  conspire to losing  this one. It was inevitable.

So tight that whoever lost it could point to a number of wee things. Tyrone dominated first 15 mins of second half but in that period Mayo got a couple of two pointers to stay in touch then the goal. Having got back into it the free conceded by the otherwise excellent Teague was a disaster. Mayo will point to that goal chance at the end - that would have finished the game.

Great to see the old timers standing up for Tyrone. The experience of winning a second tight Championship match in a row will stand to all the youngsters and there is plenty of hope after the disjointed league form. Are they capable of really competing at this stage, still not sure, but moving in the right direction now.

What is it about  Sean Cavanagh and his snide  comments?

A dose of a pundit

Mayo fans will never admit that their cult hero is not a footballer.

Fair play to ya. Some fine predictions.
Tbh I would have picked Monaghan to do the rossies. But I'd also have picked Cavan mayo.  The the rest I had a feeling of even though Louth needed a late goal. Both Armagh and Donegal are way overrated. Quaters id say and both will be out. Tyrone may make a semi final. But that's the end of Ulster involvement. For me depending on draw Meath may make another semi too. So we wait and see

Finally got to Lee Keegan in the end, rather snide throughout, mission accomplished

Tyrone Split

Is subsequent draw for the quarter finals also taking place tomorrow morning?  Some of us just don't have the time to be preoccupying ourselves with the banal machinations of the losers' play-off fixtures.

A fortnight ago a similar scenario was butchered and Monaghan got a goal on the break. It was a split second decision and Sam made the correct one, he would've needed to float a pass over the Tyrone back which isn't easy at the pace he was going.

During the game I sensed the bench would be the difference, Andy still gave O'Shea the chance, there was a time when the Mayo crowd would roar when he came on, now it's groans. The new rules don't suit him unfortunately.
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go
