RIP Frank - an absolute magician of a footballer and one of the all time Tyrone greats. Condolences to the wider family.

Hopefully the class of 2026 can turn in a performance for everyone this afternoon. Have to feel that the remainder of this year's Championship is vital for Malachy O'Rourke if he is to be the man to take this team forward. We really shouldn't be in a position where losing narrowly to Armagh in Ulster was seen as a good result following a poor campaign in Division 2. Transition and all that I know - but it needs to be better and has to start to getting better now.

R.I.P Frank McGuigan. Nothing but respect for the man from a Derry supporter.

Newbridge Exile

RIP and condolences to the McGuigan family, that Ulster final performance in 84  is one of my earliest vivid memories of  Gaelic Football.

God rest McGuigan the greatest ( played minor and senior same day in Clones too)?
Hyde going well Gormley all is forgiven plus McElholm magic!

Frank is flying overhead thus far!

Was it the heat/tactics/ suspected fitness levels of the players that resulted in a large number of times having a tyrone player with the ball having no one to forward pass to today.

Tyrone beat a Roscommon team that have been flying this year and that's what you come up with.
U20s beat someone by a point are we all rave about them.

Agenda ?

Great win and attacking performance. Best team on the day. Hopefully two canavans back availability soon too

No agenda. A genuine question as even the commentators were saying it. Its one of the 3 or a combination. Cant improve the team if you ignore the issues.

Some result. Well done all

Armagh Girl

RIP to the Great Frank McGuigan, condolences to his family, and all in Ardboe/Tyrone GAA. One of the greatest.
Tyrone done him proud today!

Played very well first half. Lost their way a bit in second half but managing to turn it around after going behind - when momentum was all behind Roscommon - was very impressive. Winning a Championship match in those circumstances should stand to all the young players too. Plenty to work on but that has to go down as a very good day. And a fitting day to get the win.

It was prrssure cooker hot physically and mentally there today. A win in those circumstance will set Tyrone up for more: only thing is the defense needs better organisation. I thought doing that on the field was McGeary's job?
McElholm magic and great to see McHugh getting blooded at this level( bit of strength and determination there badly needed).
S&C still an issue shown up on a baking hot day. McCurry used really well as last 25min sub and Mattie Donnelly controlled the zone well in  second half. Jordan lets nothing put him off, great but we need the 2 pointers to go over often. 4-5 missed today and thought McKernan could have been set up to try a couple more but no. Great goal Cassidy brave determined run straight into the heart of them (I take previous post back). Morgan shade flaky as ever but still great when it mattered.
More work to be done but excellent 1st round.

Jimmyless and  Murphylittle Donegal next🤣😇??

What is up with Camavans? All a bit strange esp. RC?

Very good summary. Agree with it.

I thought the cavanans being absent was a bit strange. Cant recall them being on the same pitch toge this year for any real length of time. Hopefully they will be ready for the next time

Thought the way Conn spoke at the end sounded like Canavans could be more than an injury issue. Maybe picked it up wrong.

Though Teague good at times to day but was atrocious for the goal. Basic error leaving himself not goal side and no one covering. u12 stuff!

Darragh was with the squad today so nothing to see there imo.
