twohands!!!

Cork with their ability to mangle goal chances remains hard to believe.

I'll be gobsmacked if they survive in Division 1 next year.

OTB interview reel with Jimmy McG post match is some viewing. Tommy is in the same boat as Bogue & Kevin Casdidy now

He has brilliant vision off either foot.  Morris could be a play maker at 11 but best suited inside.

Ethan Tremblay

Just listened to mcguniness interviewed by off the ball, jez he is a hard man to like.

Your man only asks him a question and he's acting a bollix back.
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

Quote from: Gael85 on May 23, 2026, 05:39:29 PMDidn't see that second half in Donegal. Thought Kerry controlled first half and dominated kick out would set them up for second half. Red card changed the game. If Hurson had took control of game at the start would none of that nonsense before HT. Kerry lads seemed intent in settling old scores and how did David Clifford escape a yellow card.
What, Hurson made burns strike and got Kerry to settle old scores, what nonsense. Players are in control of their own discipline, not the refs. If teams want to play football there will rarely be a booking. It is not the refs who determine this but players and management.

I'd say Jimmy knows he has a ban in his future.

Yeah it's on the players how they act.

However if Hurson had yellow-carded Clifford for either of his challenges,I think there's a good chance there is no messiness between the teams and the second half is 15v15

Quote from: gallsman on May 23, 2026, 05:42:00 PMClifford may be in trouble yet. If it's not in the ref's report the video could do him.

I see it being suggested that it was only worth a yellow. Surely an elbow to the head is a straight red card and nothing else?

It was a raised forearm/elbow. Arguable (but in theory irrelevant) which bit be actually hit him with. It also wasn't really a strike, more so it was raised, quite deliberately by the looks of things, when when trying to give McGonagle a manly shunt.

Donegal had countered the Kerry kick outs after about twenty five minutes. Were getting in behind the press and controlled the game. Kerry didn't score for the last fifteen minutes hardly a team bossing things.

Same logic did Hurson make Clifford do it? if David didn't do what he did then Burns may not have done what he did, the players lost their discipline that is on them.

I don't know that he saw either challenge. Obviously he can only give cards based on what he saw or what the other officials tell him.

I'm referring before Burns incident, from the throw in numerous Kerry players were in engaging in off the ball stuff and crying to the linesman.

Kerry eased off the press. They still controlled possession for most of first half.
