Didn't see much on tv so I wouldn't be so sure

Donegal would been favourites for that game, when u seen the 2 teams were named Thursday nite.

Possibly something with Mac Gearaillt as well but might have just been shouting and gesticulating.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on May 23, 2026, 04:54:17 PMI like both Armagh and Donegal.

But jeez you Armagh lads have some bitterness towards Donegal.
Being called  British .... by our fellow Ulster men wasn't well received . 8)

Did that investigation ever conclude or is this still a wishful hearsay from bitter Armagh fans?

Ye should be thankful to Donegal, sure without them losing to Down Armagh would still have no Ulster.
Kerry lucky Down are in the Tailteann

Down went at them, got into the lead. Donegal can't bore the pants off you between the 45 and 65 when they are behind.

You would love if your Derry was going down to Killarney scoring 2-20 and boring the pants off you.

There was absolutely nothing boring about Donegal today when the game was there to be won ffs.

It was over at half time and they saw it out professionally, exactly as they should have.

Donegal boring under Jim McGuinness is one of the biggest myths in this sport.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Didn't see that second half in Donegal. Thought Kerry controlled first half and dominated kick out would set them up for second half. Red card changed the game. If Hurson had took control of game at the start would none of that nonsense before HT. Kerry lads seemed intent in settling old scores and how did David Clifford escape a yellow card.

gallsman

Clifford may be in trouble yet. If it's not in the ref's report the video could do him.

How can Brendan Cawley not know the rules ?
Cork man stopped the Meath man from kicking after the mark.
Ref moves the ball 50m forward

Or maybe I don't know the rules

Quote from: marty34 on May 23, 2026, 03:59:12 PMThis 'row' is a prime example of why Burns should set up an Independent Review Committee.

Then deal with stuff like this every Monday. Deal with everything the referees etc. can't deal with.

It would end this sort of waffle.

You know there is one but the rules are terribly opaque and hard to enforce resulting in spectacular inconsistency. Connaire Mackin was banned by it after Derry in 24. That was the last one I was involved in. Not sure how many there have been since.

I see it being suggested that it was only worth a yellow. Surely an elbow to the head is a straight red card and nothing else?

Meath goal and a couple of two pointers from 0-9 each to Cork 0-9 Meath 1-14

Half time Cork 0-11 Meath 1-16.

statto

Cork look like will rue a couple of missed goal chances. Great vision from Morris for Meath goal.
