Louth could dominate for rest of decade with their u20/minor teams coming through.
FFS. Fancied Louth but thats the curse on them now

Should Louth lose today then mooster will need to delete his account and run.
...

;D

Thats a fair big shock. Didn't get seeing the game, but Louth have been flying and Dublin have been shite bar the odd sting in the tail for a good while. Did Louth have a few injuries during the week?

moonster

You have to fancy Kilare against the Dubs in 2 weeks. Surely final will be played in Tullamore?

Have 100 on Kildare and Limerick tomorrow to make uo for today.

Dublin's old heads really showed up and were instrumental in controlling the game. They forced a lot of turnovers and were very efficient in shooting. While McGinnis and Small had goal chances, Dublin were sensible in terms of taking one pointers when they were on offer. Louth preferred to play around the edge of the two point arc, and over played or took a punt that went well wide.

The way Dublin played was interesting. Rather than adapting to the new rules they tried to control the ball and force Louth to respond in kind

Sideline12

Dublin is not gone away, will win leinster, not sure after that.

Hard to call today's game.
Westmeath's need the greater so might just drive them to win.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Midway through the 1st half Kildare 0-6 Westmeath 0-3. With Luke Loughlin out Westmeath could have done without losing Matthew Whittaker to injury after 12 minutes

Five points in a a row for Westmeath to lead 0-8 to 0-7. A goal for Westmeath now.

Half time Westmeath 1-8 Kildare 0-10.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Heard they were taking credit for last year Leinster title win.

Ger Brennan wasn't good enough for the set up by all accounts.

Who the hell is Gareth Devlin.

Some terrific turnovers in this game. Good to see ref not penalising good tackling and pressure.

gallsman

Cracking equaliser. Westmeath have had an awful lot of chances to wrap this up.

moonster

Kildare will coast this in ET. The fitter team.

Deserved win for Westmeath. Not much between them but they had more on the line and they wanted it more. Some of them defensive work was terrific.

You are still at it. And thinking a Westmeath team managed by McHugh would be less fit than Kildare  ;D
