Monaghan would want to tighten up - tyrone coasting through them. Good game so far

That 1st goal was self sabotage, Monaghan have retreated into their shells since. Tyrone playing like they expect to win, Monaghan hoping. They need HT

Colton and Quinn both of the Minor team from 2025 having a big say.

Monaghan when they were in control in the first 10 minutes looked comfortable. The first Tyrone goal changed the game

Stevie ONeill bound to be help showing forwards how to operate.

Couple super Farney players but tuned out a bit. Number 5 Tyrone is classy & some great decision making from a young team in attack.

Aaron Boone

Very sunny in Armagh on the TV. It looks like a different time zone.

Max Maguire dragging Monaghan back into this

What could have been for Derry if they'd have tried playing a bit of football against Tyrone...

ElJeffe

Good effort from Monaghan missing 4 main players

Tyrone really dug in the whole tournament and deserved it

If keepers weren't important enough before the new rules, they sure are now. Kickouts for the most part are a lottery, if you then on top of that don't have a keeper with an exceptional kick you're in serious bother on any given day

Max Maguire should be straight into that Monaghan senior squad at the weekend.

Gutting for Monaghan but well done to Tyrone. They battled well in the second half, but that first goal they conceded was the killer, an unforced turnover that knocked the stuffing out of them for 20 minutes. Even though Tyrone were fortunate to make the QF's , they were always going to be formidable in a final. Conor Devlin is a serious player for Tyrone.

For Monaghan it will be a case of what might have been for this U20 squad during an injury ravaged campaign for them. Missing up to 8 starters for some of the games. But it will stand Monaghan well going forward. Maguire, Doherty, Matty Carolan, Connolly and McCaffrey all stood up during the campaign.

What a fantastic win last night by our lads, never thought we'd be near an Ulster title after that Cavan game earlier this year. Fair play to the lads and Paul, they knew they had to tighten up and did it big time.

Have to say the game itself was really enjoyable and such a lovely evening for it too. Armagh is easily the best venue in Ireland for atmosphere, really benefits from having such a compact ground.

That game was won on the Monaghan knockout, would love to see the stats on the scores we got off their restarts. It's no surprise that Monaghan's best periods were the first and third quarter as the ball hardly made its way up to their end. That meant hardly any restarts from Mooney. When he did have work to do the kick outs were poor and the work out the field wasn't good enough. We got serious momentum off their kick outs and our fast running game and early ball into FF line caused havoc.

On to the big stage now and 4 AIs in 5 years.
