Is the formatt of the competition like traditional championship football (one and done) or is there other rounds/ backdoor options?

Basically a backdoor until the quarters. Exact format as Derry senior last year.

Predictions for Wed Fixtures

Sean Flemings Army v City Mountain Men - LD by 4 - Sligo new signing to score 10

Midge Eaters v Shanes Castle Gaels - Con Magees by 7 - Everyone to be ate alive by midges

Antrims Most Succesful Club v Posh Swamp Men - Think be tighter than expected with Kickhams pulling away late by 6. Johnnies always get stuck into them

Prawn Sandwich Brigade v The Shams - Biddies by 9

Lurgan Reserves v Cant Buy A C'ship - Draw - McGleenan be hurt after that last tramping the Casements men got. No 1 fit for Ruairi McCann

The Bear Tits v AP's Donkeys - Sars by 8 - Dont think everything is Rosey in Moneyglass camp

Antrims 2nd most Successful Team v Pauls - Galls by 12

Current County Champions v Swamp Men - Draw - Both seem to be experimenting and just ticking over.

Carlow away won't be easy, will the county men be allowed to play tomorrow night, have any players walked, any new call ups

Whether this is true or not im not sure, so please anyone with any knowledge on the situation please correct me.

I heard a couple days after the Derry game Loughran may have walked away, Ryan Murray already was away, Gribbon injured/ away. McAuley away and the younger of the Shivers may have thrown in the towel.

Hopefully not right as i feel in particular Loughran and Murray have alot to offer. Though i havnt seen Murray kitted out, and just assumed injured

I had heard Murray left before the Derry game. I hadn't heard that Loughran left but would be a massive loss if he has.

Should take advantage of the hurlers implosion and call up Molloy, Elliot and Cunning.

That would be so Antrim, fellas that committed to the small ball should turn up and get game time in the TC before lads that shouldered to this point playing football, just because things have went belly up with the hurlers, especially after they'd have been asked to if theyd commit to the football at the start off Dorans tenure

Appointing a name like Davy Fitz at astronomical costs really paying off both on the pitch and off it. Some day the reality will hit home to invest the big doe in the youth structure and forget about these big names until we have a team that can compete

Previous posts indicated we have lost players from the panel who will be needing replaced one assumes.

And Doran has previously said that he has talked to Molloy and Elliot and predicted that we will see them in an Antrim football jersey one day.

So if needing to supplement the squad why not them?

Or does continuing with hurling squad at first ask rule you out forever?

And does same then go for other lads who couldn't commit due to other priorities like work, travel etc?

100%, the gap occurs at 14/15/16 invest there.

the interesting point will be if association amalgamations ever happens, difficult to pay managers in 2 codes with underperforming teams and not pay managers in 2 codes who are doing better (before getting into paying male codes etc)

The Davy dough is unlikely to be available to redirect elsewhere, suspect it doesn't come from central county funds.

Would it not come from club aontroma?

Results last night almost as expected but for quite a few draws. As usual in division 1 bottom end probably more interesting than the top end.

Hearing now bottom four irrelevant now as it's switching to 1A and 1B leagues next year 10 per league whatever secret meetings have been taking place

Pretty decent predictions there, especially calling 2 draws.

Wish I had had a bit of money on them!

Only MG and TNN really outperformed your predictions....or maybe Glenravel and Sars underperformed could be more accurate.
