Id say Derry may be slightly concerned they're not much further ahead, 8-5 is a poor return as they looked much superior (for 1st 20 anyway). Tyrone well in it

Derry very slow in their build up.

Like a game pre-new rules.

One in it now...how have Derry let this happen

tyroneStatto

Tyrone all over them now and only 1 behind with 10 left.

ClubScene13

Jesus, they will probably get over the line here but wouldn't have that Derry team as favourites for anything on that showing, very mediocre

Wildweasel74

They won 1 Ulster at U20/21 in near 30yrs, Derry for some reason are never great at this age group even with good teams. There style of play very much like the old rules

Monaghan deservedly beat Cavan 1-17 to 0-16. Watching Cavan was like a throwback to the old rules...endless shuffling the ball around with no end product, before a possession-starved Monaghan got on a few balls, went direct for the posts at pace and duly notched the scores to win. A few perplexing decisions from the L-Plate referee, when the result was still very much up for grabs, really helped Monaghan at crucial junctures but they deserved to win regardless.

Tyrone deserved that Derry's attacking play was shocking all night!!

Shocking performance from a Derry team full of talented players. Slow as a cart horse throughout. Tyrone much more direct. Derry got what they deserved.

Deserved win for Tyrone. Some goal. Derry lacking idea's once they reached the 45 once again.

Crazy from Derry. This particular Tyrone U20 team are quite limited in my opinion especially without Ruairi McCullagh but they just let them hang about.

Not that I want to be using cliches but it really was staying in second gear when they should have been out of sight.

Some win for that group, the bite and digging in was there big time last 15 minutes. The amount of sickeners Tyrone have given Derry at U20 recently is staggering that must be 3 years in a row now it's been a coin toss that all went to Tyrone

Think that's Donegal v Tyrone  and Armagh v Monaghan in the semis then

armaghniac

How is the draw now. Is there a draw or is it Donegal v Tyrone and Armagh v Monaghan as they haven't played?
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

Wouldn't blame the young players. All dictated to by the management I'd say.

Very poor in 2nd half. Tyrone came out to give it a go in the 2nd half and got what they deserved.

Derry's management got what they deserved also, nothing.

Tyrone won most of the break balls in 2nd half around the middle third. A couple of really strong performances by them. Well deserved over the 65 odd minutes.
