Boys were about 10 up at one stage but into extra time now. Hopefully get over the line.

Ouch - not a nice way to lose.

I think 5 city schools amalgamated in this competition but didnt make it out of the group stage...not trying to belittle those efforts - more about giving credit to St Louis for the actual size of the achievement.

The bigger question remains...will this year group at St Louis remain competitive throughout the A stream the whole way to McRory?

Easter Sunday at 4pm for the next round of club league fixtures? What would the rationale be there then?  :o  >:(  ???  ::)

Parade is early doors so all good.. Sports are played played on Mothers day, Fathers day, birthdays and what better way to enjoy the Easter Celebrations of Irish culture than to play our national sport on that historic day..

That said, teams can and have rearranged games between them and they are going ahead earlier
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Where was young JJ Higgins tonight? Hurt?

What is everyone's opinion on our development squads?  Just looking at that camogie result today and our recent gaa and lgfa squads. For every decent set up there seems to be a mess elsewhere.  How can we get a proper set up for all codes at all age groups?

Hard to say they've been of any use to Antrim given they're in the basement of Football and hurlings getting progressively worse

Hear me out on this.

Development squads in Antrim meet once a week, 1hr and a half. Dubs etc are 3 times a week.

If we continue to skirt about and blame the development squads, we will never correct the real problem.

Club coaching isnt good enough.

Development squad outputs are largely a symptom rather than a cause. Quality coaching, culture of improvement, appropriate facilities and quality officiating all at club level the pillars for development.

I've watched 2 club games this week which had more in common with a rugby match than gaelic football as it's played elsewhere so a long way to go.

For the county to get where it needs to go, I wouldn't start from here.

Separately has Mick Byrne opted out of the county panel, a big miss if so.
