Point won? Point lost?

More the latter. 4 points up, heading into injury time, albeit with a flukey goal and we conspired to turn over ball twice to let Tipp score 2 * 2 pointers.

That said, they has tails up at that stage and cuda won. Ref blew up slightly early.

So - a good game played in front of a poor attendance. The wind was a hoor. All over the place. Last 10 mins was played in sleet.

Honours even. Nothing wrong with this.

Carlow next Sunday. Win that and we are in the mix. Tough ask though. Glad to see Antrim turn over Leitrim...........perhaps it's true. The darkest time is just before the dawn. They were cat melodeon last week. Perhaps a good row cleared the air and that made all the difference.

Brilliant last gasp free from Mark Jackson to win it for Wicklow yesterday. In truth Wicklow underperformed and should never have been in such danger of losing.
Still, it was nice to send a spoofer like Poacher home with nothing to show for it!

Wicklow paying serious dollar to McConville and Dolan. Wicklow will walk this league. Can't see anyone competing with their resources.

I don't believe there is big money. McConville is a novice manager.

Project Oisin and Frankie off the rails? I was surprised, but delighted, Antrim took them apart yesterday.

We have them in Longford in the last game.

Meanwhile we welcome Carlow today. Maybe there will be afters from the row at the end our last Tailteann Cup game last summer. We were winning handy when the row broke out over a few comments from Carlow lads. To the tune of "eff off home we still have a few games left". (one as it happens). Longford lads took took serious umbrage to this and the schmozzel started. Great fun, in fairness.

I miss Cake Curran managing them. The new lad looks like a serious operator.

A great win today. Going in at half time, a point up and playing with a strong wind, I feared the worst in the second 35.

But Longford knuckled down and were super impressive agin the win (albeit playing into the traditional 'scoring goals') to put Carlow to the sword.

Div 4 is now the place where anything could happen in the last two games. Carlow still should get promoted, with 2 home games, and we are away to Leitrim and home to Wicklow.

All to play for.

A win for Longford will see us in a good position..................but taking nawtin for granted.

Well, that was awful. Leitrim gave us a deserved shoeing.

But what a Super Sunday we will have. 6 teams in theory in contention with only Waterford out of it.

RTE/TG4 should concentrate on these 4 games and cover the 4 live.

A very interesting last day in Div.4. All teams can beat eachother and anything could happen. Carlow and Wicklow are still odds on though.

Wicklow not 12pts up on Longford? Bad loss!

As they used to say in Glenroe, Co. Wicklow. Well Holy God. How this we end up winning by a point. 15 mins to go we were 11 points down and looking all at sea. But then we got a goal and then some momentum. Wicklow fluffed many efforts when a goal seemed the easier option while Longford chipped away. Last 5 mins was glorious chaos. Side level, Wicklow got one up, sides level again and then the final Longford point. Ref blew on the kickout.

Shame the crowd was poor to see such entertainment.

Longford play in Croke Park for the first time in 11 years. Bad day out that day in Div 4 final as Offaly hammered us 4-16 to 1-12.

It was an entertaining Div 4 this year - roller coaster for Longford and some very unpredicted results.
