Yerra😁.
Armagh 11 wides last Sunday, we had 2 or 3.
Totally wiped on kick outs 2nd half, damn glad to hear the hooter.
The luck/ref that denied us in Killarney balanced out last Sunday.

We'll be doing very well to get anything out of this game.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

I'd have little to no interest in yerra'ing, and would be quite happy to point out to Roscommon ones their recent record v Galway in championship

But he's right in the 23/10 is very big. There will be that big prevailing westerly wind in Salthill tomorrow night, blowing right down to the rockbarton end. The type of wind the Walsh and Conroy were a cheat code using for two pointers in the league last year. This year Galway have nobody bar Tierney and maybe McGrath to kick them. Roscommon have an abundance.

When you add in Brigids lads returning (i assume?) and no potential additions to the Galway panel i'd have this one very close to 50/50

QuoteIf you've seen the way Mayo, and indeed Moran, have celebrated winning the league in the past, you'd know there's zero chance that's the case. They've a nice entry point into Connacht this year also (London), and a two week gap from the league final

You'd be better listening to Moran over the last month then.

London is our focus.

Galway have scored 3 goals in each of their last 2 games and 2 in the game against Roscommon.
Some of these goals were very cheap/helped by some rank bad defending.
The odds of them getting either 2 or 3 goals for the 4th week in a row has to be low enough.
Points wise they scored 18 against the Rossies, 12 against Armagh and 14 against Kerry.
Rossies definitely look better value than 23/10 suggests.

Why the warm weather training camp pre league rather than pre championship if so? Unless he's planning a second one? Have the broke county board a new tim o'leary type figure onboard

Warm weather training was for FBD.

Whole county is devastated.

No Brigids players named in 26 apart from Conor Carroll as sub-goalie and his cousin has made the 1 spot his own. Definitely being eased back very slowly. I did think we could have done with Cunnane and indeed Fallon for this game but we've essentially 10 debutants for this league and a few old soldiers and they have surprised us all, and places now hard fought for. Galway however killed us in the championship in the air and that's the main worry. A draw a good bet for this one.

You're coming across as a little nervous..a rejuvenated Mayo is good for the league / championship

Bookies and punters has Galway to win by at least 2 points which is probably about right.

Interesting approach by new Roscommon manager Mark Dowd to hold back the Brigids players now into round 4 of the league and the likes of Cian McKeon,Conor Cox,Ultan Harney haven't featured either due to injury.

Big difference from Davy Burke in 2024 when he apparently went mad when the Brigids players didn't make themselves available for Tyrone in round 1 of the league just 7 days after the All-Ireland club final.

The wind in Salthill can be like nowhere else, last February was a example of that as Galway led Donegal 0-17 to no score.

Elsewhere I'd expect Mayo to win narrowly after a right good battle with Monaghan

Armagh are at their strongest at home so maybe a draw v Donegal and Kerry should beat Dublin comfortably tomorrow night.

Tis. Nobody does giddy overexcitment or exaggerated despair quite like our Mayo brethren. They haven't been relevant in years and to be honest those years haven't been as entertaining

Ciarrai_thuaidh

Rossies - are most of the Brigids contingent taking an extended break? I know Ross are going ok but the likes of Stacks, Fallon, Hand, Cunnane will add massively to squad you'd think. And Ben O'Carroll obviously if in form.

Not being rushed back sensibly.
Most have returned to training with the County panel.
Brian Stack and Eddie Nolan out for League.
People expecting a couple of them to be in the "real" 26 tomorrow night.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Captain Scarlet

I think the rule changes and Davy moving on are best for Roscommon. I always felt he never really let the handbrake off and there were games where they didn't really go for it.
It'll be interesting as get into Championship mode, but the Brigid's boys will be a huge boost too.

I could see Kerry hammering the Dubs this evening too. It'll be good for the rest of Leinster if their confidence continues to take a beating.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.
