Can't see anything but an Armagh win if they're up for it. Donegal have their work more or less done.

There's cute hoorism and then there's flat out lying!

Jimmy is coming down to lay down a marker and definitely smells blood against a weakened Armagh team.

Donegal will beat Armagh hanidly, and pull up like they did v Kerry & Mayo... Armagh bar sloppy goals + stupid McQuillan foul, should have won, along with even stupider 2x breaches v Rosc, argument they could be joint top on 6pts.

But when you look who they have missing, outside of the retirees, they could be in big trouble.

  • Andrew Murnin
  • Rory Grugan
  • Rian O'Neill
  • Aaron McKay
  • Aidan Forker
  • Barry McCambridge
  • Ciaran Mackin
  • Connaire Mackin
  • Niall Grimley

Grugan on that list as well, hope to see him back soon. Paddy Burns, Darragh McMullen and Ben Crealey got their first game time at the weekend and will be a big help. Joe McElroy went off injured against Galway and was badly missed I thought, hopefully he's back for Donegal.

He had been playing great stuff this year, one of the biggest misses on that ever growing list.

Hard to know what way Donegal will approach the remainder of the league.  In saying that they are in great form and surely want that to roll on.  Armagh with it all to do to stay in division 1 now.
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

Captain Obvious

When weakened Roscommon,Galway teams could score high and beat Armagh then no excuse for Donegal with most of their best players available not to win by a few points to spare this weekend.

A real relegation battle on Armagh hands now and the Dublin game in Croke Park will likely be a key game.

What is the point of even playing in Division 1 if they only play to win 3/4 games. Competitive edge gone last 3 games. Is it any worse than playing in Division 2.

Galway had a strong side out against Armagh make it 11 players from 2024 all Ireland were on the field at some stage plus Mulhearn, Fiona McDonagh and Shane McGrath who have all made big impacts this season and would be in mix for championship minutes?  It's hard to even count Comer as a missing player given his unfortunate struggles with injury, Conroy will be a big plus when get him back.

Dublin game will be massive as you say.
