For sure! But what I cant understand is why does a guy with such good feet for 2 pointers and an engine to match, what is he even doing in the full back line??

Whoever is doing the antrim x updates is a pile of use! Posting scores without actually posting what the score is.

Bollocks. Big blow to any hopes of promotion  >:(

Anyone at it to comment? Did not see that coming against what I assumed would be a poor Carlow side.

Carlow better organised than us, had an efficient game plan, used the ball better, created 2 points scoring opportunities for fun and took plenty of them. Ran through our middle for the goal and similar when getting the penalty.
I had huge expectations for us. That was grim .

Whats up with conchuir johnston. Massively talked about being one of antrims top forwards and so far his career has been mainly on the bench?
Is mcquillan being managed for sigerson purposes?

Marty, you have to have some level of optimism at the start of every new season surely ?

And yours is based on what Saffsof82?

We're too good to be in this division...

We should be beating X, Y & Z....

Disapointing start to the season, Jordy brought his A game but needed others to step up. Quite a lot of sub par performances and there needs to be a few obvious changes for the trip to Tipp.

Carlow looked good, well drilled and more than up for the contest.

Needed to convert more chances, wastage rate just too high from those pulling the trigger. Ultimately thats what beat us, a marquee forward like Paddy Cunningham and we probably would have won that.

Was at it myself Jordan and McCabe both brought it but apart from that there wasn't much , terrible defensive shape cut open multiple times like a hot knife through butter 2 goals and could of been more , playing with the wind we can't convert frees or any 2p scoring chances. Oisin Doherty done well also when he got the ball , some of the shot selection was terrible from others and not pressing out on Carlow for about 20 minutes of the second half as they kicked 2p at their leisure , if we are being realistic that wasn't a good Carlow team they just had a game plan when they had the wind to kick 2pt and I am not sure how Antrim didn't opt to step out , we will be in big bother if we face a team i.e Wicklow with Mark Jackson who kicked 0-9 yesterday from 2pt as Carlow missed a good few 2pt free chances aswell. Antrim need a nailed on free converted and 45s missed too many ones that should of been scores. No idea why Conhuir Johnston on the sideline as he was fit , same as bringing Ryan McQuillan on with about 7 mins to go. Conhuir and Ryan both bring ability of directness and power when we need scores.
