A wonder kick from Tohill.

UU continue their extraordinary knack for making it look like the 15 men who take the field have never met each other before the throw in.

Umpires with no flags is poor for those involved. Half time Queens 0-8 UU 0-5.  A correction on the scoreline now.

If Jerome would just stop talking for a second and pay attention to the game it would be a much better product
My thoughts exactly

Having attended UU some of the biggest names on these panels genuinely don't be seen until after Christmas. UUJ are always thrown together with county men everywhere in the hope that this will somehow work. 9 times out of 10 it is extremely disappointing and as you say, the lads barely know each other in some instances

Queens arnt exactly coming down with household names but still managed to look cohesive and played the better football. They missed three goal chances as well which could have put them out of sight.

Jordanstown need a complete reboot. Apart from one good year, the performances across the rest of this last decade has been abysmal.

Is the Sigerson Cup highly valued and is it workable in the current climate of fixture congestion?

What is the story with Conor Cush for jordanstown, named on the bench and never came on. Would be the best forward on the team. Vice captain and captain the past 2 years im nearly sure, very surprised not to see him. Is he injured or whats the story?

I think UUJ need more sponsor events.. Brolly's comments in 2016 still stand true..

"UUJ and their flower arranging courses attract all the county men, with damn all to show for it."

QUB were also missing their captain.

Truth hurts

That's most likely what took place.

I'm assuming Limerick are very strong? They gave DCU a bit of a hiding, same team that destroyed UU

If you consider the players that have come through their ranks in more than the last 20 years they are significant underachievers. Queens seem to not have the same star base yet seem to overachieve. Dunno what it is.

With TJ being the Course Director / Head of Admissions.

My Sigerson experience was a group of county players on scholarships would wander in to the dressing room before the game and introduce themselves. They would replace hackers like me for 70 minutes. We went out with better players but a worse team.

Truth hurts

There will always be a place for the Sigerson but I cannot see county players buying into it for much longer. Playing without the intercounty stars would mean more to the colleges as last evenings match was played like a friendly game.
