Should have been 3, Amad off the post via a finger tip save. The 3rd goal arrives from Mount.

To update ruled out by VAR.  Result 2-0.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Not sure how it's not about 5-0. Can't believe how they have played. Just goes to show what a tube amorin was

Ultimately it shows that when players give up on a manager he should be moved out asap. It just delaying the inevitable to think that can be turned around.

2 year contracts for managers is the way forward.

Bit of consistency now badly needed... United always had a big game in them against the better teams, need to start winning against the shite teams.

Hope Scholes and Butt are going to apologise to Licha now for the comments during the week, totally dominated Haaland today.

Utd very impressive and should've been more.

Would like to see the Mount goal offside again, must have been very tight

From chaos to Carrick.

What should be seen from any Man United team, well organised, disciplined and full of intensity. Restricted City to a mere one shot on target should have scored at least 4 instead of 2 goals.

On the possible red card for Dalot, the official line was not excessive force, I'll take their word for it. Have seen United players get sent off for next to nothing Casemiro twice especially.

2nd best in the Premier League this season comfortably beaten up next table toppers and champions to be away.

Yeah, people should  calm down . It's only one match

How much of this result was down to Carrick's  tactics,  and how  much to Mrs Carrick's teamtalk?

Look-Up!

Thought Utd were sensational today. Last time I saw City that overran was 2nd half against Brighton start of season. Miniscule fraction of timing in some of the passes and that was a complete rout on the score line.

Utd looked brilliant in their passing and ball retention, everyone looked so comfortable. Having a near full team to pick from and not having the likes of Zirkzee on the field makes such a huge difference in moves not breaking down and getting fluidity into their play. Getting consistency now is the next problem.

tiempo

Assist for the first goal and thing of beauty

Red Nev talking pure rot in the week was adamant even if Carrick won 13 of 17 he cant be kept on, interesting to see how that view evolves

If Keane was looking after the team it would have been 6

Really?

Liverpool got a comfortable draw away to Arsenal last week and they currently have little of the fast break fluidity that United can sometimes pull together in these games.

United big issues, like Liverpool's, are labouring against the low block teams.
