Hoof Hearted

Aye felt sorry for the connacht teams
Especially as they aren't from hurling stronghold counties
Treble 6 Nations Fantasy Rugby champion 2008, 2011 & 2012

Milltown Row2

Was enjoyable and dramatic

The faces of the clubmen and clubwomen in the crowd celebrating in the final whistle in both games is something else..

The heartache and pain in the suffering of the losing teams is so hard to take

Club is King!!

Mayo and Sligo have put in a massive shift to beat their Galway 'masters' these past few years and unfortunately have come up short

Ah Jesus lads. What games there.

I'm explaining to the wife, who is a scouser, just the lay of the land about how big these places are and the travelling the have to do for training.

I took her to Croke Park when I was lucky my home club won an intermediate all Ireland  final

Everything good about the GAA was out there today.

NAG1

2 massive games and credit to all four clubs, some exceptional players across the 2 games too, would grace any stage.

Easkey maybe be kicking themselves taking their two best forwards off when they thought the game was gone. Tough to take being on the wrong side of either of those games.

Only got to see parts of the Toureen/Upper Church game and thought it was evenly matched the whole way with the goals in extra time being the difference.

If Toureen come out of Mayo next year are they still intermediate in Connaught?

Other Teams in Galway have won Intermediate Connaught, Toreen themselves but not sure they then made the step up to senior, I could be wrong, different provinces do different things

Cullen Killeen of Loughrea cleared by DRA tonight and free to play on Sunday
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Can't wait to see the reasoning on this. I've no idea whether he struck or not, but the referee believed he did and sent him off accordingly. No video evidence to the contrary so appeals to CHC and CAC fell on deaf ears.

Any of the the commentary I read about in the couple of weeks after it appeared to cost almost exclusively of "sure he's only a young fella".
