Give it a rest

He has a point about OSG. Done sweet f**k all with his managerial career.
But he has *done more* than Keane, which is the point. Neither are the caliber required, but if Keane is the answer, what exactly is the question?

Who can inspire the current Man Utd players and won't cry on their exit interview
What in his coaching cv points to inspiration as a strength?

One other major failure at Sunderland was signings. He won't be able to sign players United release like he did there

Manchester United fan group seeks to oust 'incompetent clown' Jim Ratcliffe

Was Ratcliffe one of the Red Knights? I remember quite a few posters on here thought the idea of a few mega wealthy lads owning the club would be a terrific idea and that because they were, supposedly, fans, these lads wouldn't behave like the robber barons they inevitably were/are.

Not sure if he was or not. Wasn't he  trying to buy Chelsea not too long ago?

Maybe everyone will stock up on green and gold scarves again.

Apparently one of the supporter groups were planning a protest for the Arsenal game at the start of the year but were told that the club was signing Baleba and called it off.

The only way they'll get these owners out is getting games called off. Should have been done every home game a long time ago.

Kids are soft as f**k these days and requires the arm over the shoulder and building their confidence with love and affection. That is not in Keane's locker so it would end in failure straight away just on that, forgeting his record as a coach/manager at top flight.. Oh and get help on this fascination, at the start I thought it was a poor attempt at trolling but not so much now
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Exhibit A

Until fans vote with their wallets and feet, nothing will ever happen.

Probably difficult to do now for any of the top 6 clubs as they do have a serious amount of tourist fans who would probably close to fill the stadiums anyway.

But yeah the message should be coming from the season ticket holders.

This debacle has been a shambles, not sure how long the likes of JR is going to let his reputation be damaged by association.

One other major failure at Sunderland was signings. He won't be able to sign players United release like he did there

His whole time as a player at Utd routinely cited as the best player, biggest influence, leader, best captain by some of Man Utds greatest including SAF, Muster Heineken Cup 2005 involvement (look it up), Sunderland promotion, assistant to MON with Eire, MON described him as an inspirational figure in the role ... to say he doesn't inspire people is like saying Kieran McGeeney doesn't inspire people, come to think of it there was wans had McGeeney down as clueless and a beat docket prior to Armagh winning in 2024

Utd don't need signings, they have 16 senior internationals to fit into 11 slots, and some excellent development prospects coming though, and its not like they have an excessive number of games to plan for, they need to start by getting the best out of what they've got

Are you simple or winding or both lol

"Manchester United group 'The 1958' have announced a BIG protest at the Manchester United vs Fulham game on February 1st - demanding a complete REMOVAL of the current ownership model, spanning Sir Jim Ratcliffe, INEOS and the Glazers.... 👀"

Armamike

Huge rant from Keane last night, even by his standards.  Supposed to be commentating on the Liverpool Arsenal game and he spends 10 minutes ripping into everybody around Man U.  Sounds pissed off at not being offered the interim role!
That's just, like your opinion man.

That's basically my point.

Elite players rarely make good managers. Cruyff. Maybe Pep. That's pretty much it.

There may be an argument that he could be an effective assistant, the bad cop. But he hasn't managed in 15 years. He isn't getting offers.

The day of a brutal manager is over. If Amorim was considered too blunt, Keane wouldn't have a hope.

Are Utd objectively any worse on paper than Villa Chelsea Newcastle Brentford? No. Therefore they don't need signings at this time, they need to deploy effectively the talent they have in the building. The most recent urgent signing they needed was a GK and they now have a good one, they have 20 quality players vying for 11 places, its not rocket science

And the rest ... Dalglish, Beckenbauer, Zidane, Ancelotti, Deschamps, Luis Enrique, Simeone off top of the head, jez
