I see the Roma manager is calling out Ferguson a bit this weekend. Happened to watch Juve v Roma and he came on.
Like I thought he'd be firing after Celtic but he lost the ball so much. In mad crowded areas he was trying around the corner flicks.
Then with some basic lay-offs he made a mess of them and their attack was destroyed. I really don't know where he should go or what he needs, but it's very frustrating and he is frustrating to watch too.
Parrott is dictating play around him and making hard runs, whereas Ferguson has become so passive.

Really hope he gets himself sorted. On the flip I wonder would Parrott be a shout for Italy or Spain at some stage. Be interesting next summer.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Harry Kane had stints at Watford Millwall and Leicester before it all came together, Ferguson should be up at Celtic scoring 30 goals getting his mojo, Roma an interesting move but possibly a setback

In the news today.

QuoteIrish Embassy officials spent thousands of pounds buying tickets for Republic of Ireland matches at the 1994 USA World Cup in an effort to prevent a "riotous situation" after hundreds of Irish fans were left stranded in Florida when a British travel agent went out of business

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I would've thought that was their  problem not the tax payers. More tax money wasted.

Capt Pat

Josh cullen did his acl on saturday. So he will miss the playoffs. We are weak in midfield. Molumby, Taylor and Knight will get destroyed by Denmark if we get that far.

Captain Scarlet

I'm glad Ferguson is on the forum and responded the right way.  :P

Watched that game and he was much better.

Midfield is very weak, so would we look at getting the two boys starting?

Both can drop deep or play up top too. We are lacking creativity there and 3 at the back would not be affected by 2 up top.

Top keeper.  That clip also highlights how poor collins is.  They're running past him for fun

On the slim chance Ireland get there- I think this world cup should be boycotted.

Listened to a good podcast there with Ben Foster and Caoimhin Kelleher.
For a guy that has Premier League, Champions League and domestic cup medals in his pocket he said the highlight of his football career to date is the Ireland win over Hungary.
Was great to hear a guy so passionate about playing for his country.

Medals all earned from sitting on the bench.  Prob doesn't take much from them. Prefers to win as a part of a team.

I already regret responding to you but it's funny how confident you are that you're right.

Earned his Premier League winners medal last season by playing enough games, and was a massive part of why Liverpool won the league when Allison was injured, any Liverpool fan will tell you that. It's funny that you think otherwise.

Played in both League Cup Final wins and even scored a penalty in the shootout in one of them, so once again didn't win his two medals sitting on the bench as you thought.

Even the Fa Cup win he played in earlier rounds and was as much as part of the squad as anyone.

The only competition where your take stands up is the Champions League win where he was 3rd choice behind Adrian, apart from that he deserves and was part of all the medals he won.

Anyway my original post stands, was great to hear how passionate he is about playing for his country.

He's been excellent for Brentford this year and I'm sure that's not going unnoticed at the top clubs.  Would not be surprised to see him move over the summer in England or Europe

No chance.

For now he's still little more than babysitting someone else's team. Dozens of managers have done similar to this in season one.

Come back in two seasons time. If he's still at it then, he'll catch the big clubs' eyes.
