Fair Play to Rock showed a bit of class there.

I know Rydz grandfather died but Rock seemed to be looking to offer his condolences after the game and he didn't seem want any of it. Looked really affected by it even in pre match interview.

Rock poor first set could be two down but reset after. Unfortunate for him he seems to be in the tougher side of the draw looks like Littler Vs one of a number of players in bottom side.

But without them darts would be played in quiet rooms in front of hundreds and Littler wouldn't be getting his millions.

I thought it was grand tbh. They were booing him for not backing up an opening 180 with another so they could get a chance to see a shot at a 9 darter. Entitled twats.

That's done to every player not just Littler it's an ironic booing. He's come across very badly in the interview, yes he's young but that probably won't help him for the rest of the tournament, especially if someone really puts it up to him. His ability hit the 180s the big difference last night.

Cross put it up to him plenty last night and the crowd didn't appear to faze him in the slightest.

Littler is young and was being a bit precious last night. If it bothered him that much the only way to deal with it is to keep the head down and move on. Because the crowd will move on. But one thing the crowd at the Pally won't be told to do is to shut up. That'll only make them worse. Price and the ear defenders come to mind. If on the other hand Littler thrives on the negative attention and wants to become a pantomime villain, he took one giant leap forward last night.

His game is serious. Can't be easy for anyone being booed in that situation but it's the game and dealing with it is what separates the champions from also rans.

No harm to give them some back but bragging about the money won't win him any respect.

Anderson has been very good in this match. Good has been hanging on but Anderson stepping on the gas now. Would love to see him win the whole thing.

Hoods doubles deserted him today. Anderson miles the better player though. 2 damp squibs this afternoon. Littler should walk his match but hopefully the Humphries-Van Veen will be better.

When Anderson is hot he's sensational but capable of going into pub darts mode too.

Searle doubled very well but was let get to a finish. First time doubling won't cut it from now on if it's taking 15 darts to get there. You need to be able to score too.
