Clearly there's more than a blind eye being turned towards it + there's over £119m in unpaid rates & whatever else goes on.

Instead of going to the Brits & asking for more money, every single time, maybe they could put their own house in order, for a change.

Is the unpaid rates figures part of the benefit fraud £233?

2 different issues, as far as I know, so there's £350 millions for starters, either being shelled out fraudulently in benefits, or not being collected by the LPA.

And they have the barefaced cheek to propose taking the 4% discount away from those who pay their rates off in full @ the start of the financial year, instead of chasing those f**kers who won't pay a penny.
Don't blame anyone not paying it. What in the utter f**k do you get especially in the country? Your bin emptied? Unless the bin men don't feel like it?

Pays for Law and Order
Contributes to education services
Helps funds emergency services
Helps fund infrastructure
and yes clears your bins

There are other things the rates go to, water and so on but I get your point!

Someone has to pay for it

Don't forget:

- Cleaning up after bonfires
- Fire service   hosing down houses at risk of bonfires
- Policing orange marches
- Policing racist  riots
- Paying for red white and  blue bunting to  decorate town centres  for the twelfth
- replacing vandalised Irish language signs

Sure why wouldn't you want to  pay for all that?  ;)

The survey shows that 10pc of voters think Labour would be the best political party to handle the economy – lower than the party's nadir of 12pc in September 2019 under Jeremy Corbyn

Telegraph is right wing muck - lump it in with the Daily Heil.

Wouldn't pay much attention to anything it says without agreement from other sources across a broad spectrum.

Don't kid yourself. It's only  put on the back burner

Starmer is  teetering over the edge. It's all about timing

Personally for me I've no issues with it

Can you tell me why I should?

BTW, serious question
