Need the best players buying into Antrim, it is the only way the county can progress. Need the youth to want to watch & play for their county and having the best players playing gives the whole thing a boost imo.

Big time on this, need to address how we give children the chance to see more of our games, make it readily accessible. Not just the county but, clubs need to be highlighted and sold in the areas. North Belfast is always going to have the shadow of Solitude looming over it, but I believe we can progress the games and build numbers if we challenge the hegemony of soccer as opposed to relying on crumbs from their table.

Might be time that we be horrible bastards, the way they are in their approach to the GAA.

Hearing back from club that mark doran asked for club chairs and managers to meet at dunsilly during the week, good to see a county manager trying to communicate imo. Told there was talk of the league structure largely remaining the same

Good to hear on the talking part and hopefully a sign that fringe or non match day players can field for clubs etc.

How many clubs will have managers in place to send along!

Our man said there were 5 clubs in attendance

As I've continually said, the clubs are only concerned about themselves and will vote accordingly.

But let's stick the boot into the county when we can ;)

4 Us, Kickhams, Woletones and PP

Sorry for my ignorance but is Naomh Éanna considered a north Belfast club?

I presume them other 3 clubs are not senior.

On the way into Belfast at Glengormley (on motorway) I think there's ball catchers over to the right. I presume it GAA and council pitches?

There's also a lot of new builds over in behind that - would that be 'gaa type' people in them new developments?

St Endas are a South West and a North Antrim team now.

Looking at the map, would say different but if playing at some levels in SW and NA boards means it moves the pitch to those geographically, then you are correct  ;D

Id say there's only 2 teams in North Belfast, ardoyne and Pearses. WT are green castle if I'm right and started by a boy who fell out with NE over the cheese and Moet selection in their SW clubhouse

What does "league structure largely remaining the same" mean?
