Wasn't sure where to put this. What a silly silly girl. More and more people are choosing to holiday in this place but don't realise how seriously they frown upon this stuff.

Not sure what she even did. Hard to do a Go Fund me with limited details about what happened.

I'm liking the zero tolerance on drugs there. Even in the bloodstream. No messing there.

Flew into Cork
5 nights outside Killarney
5 nights outside Baltimore
1 night in Druid's Glen
A week in Belfast
4 nights in Center Parcs
1 night in Blarney
Fly home out of Cork

The first half of the holiday by far the most enjoyable for me, West Cork a clear winner over Kerry, which is grossly unfair on Kerry considering how beautiful it is. West Cork in the summer is just utterly stunning though. There's a reason they go on about it so much. More should be made of Mizen Head, as the views are breathtaking.

We had "holiday fatigue" setting in shortly after getting to Belfast so am desperate to get home but kids had a blast the entire time. Can't bloody wait to get them to school on Monday and into routine (and more than 10 feet away from me)!

Some adventure. What was your accommodation type in Cork and Kerry Gallsman?

Airbnb in one, Vrbo in the other. Paid an arm and a leg for both.

Good man, I'd say so alright. We're looking to stay local next year and take the dogs... Freestate prices permitting

@gallsman - anywhere in  West Cork you would recommend staying/things to do?

I've never made it to  Cork. The sheer size of it  is daunting , and if you stayed in one spot for a week say  , you'd probably miss  out on seeing so much elsewhere. Or else you'd face a lot of driving  to try and see/do   as much as you can.

I've done a lot of holidays  where you try and cover as much as  possible , but end  up only skimming  the surface and not really  experiencing places properly , because everything nearly becomes like a  flying visit.

Looking at holidays for next year. Will have a 14 month old in tow this time! Looking at South of France and my god it's got ridiculously expensive! Had then thought about the Alps or Switzerland and stay in a ski chalet which are usually a little cheaper as it's their off season and they're expensive now too ffs. Just want something chilled out and maybe a town to dander about the early evening before the wee man goes to bed! If he is on his feet at that stage I'll end up with a man marking job for the week. Any recommendations or ideas?

I happened across a wonderful little town last year called Siegnosse Le Penon (Le Penon is the coastal area of the bigger town down the road called Siegnosse.

One of the best beaches I've ever stood on. All low rise blocks rather than high rise hotels. Extremely bike and pedestrian friendly; you can walk for miles without encountering any real incline. A really nice promenade with a mix of restaurants and takeaways. Pretty much only French people in town. And a handy run from Biarritz airport. Eating and drinking a little more expensive than here.

What was the accommodation type Wobbler?
We camped in Bidart last year. Great holiday, had two weeks so got to visit a good bit of the area. Could easily retire to that region

Best beach I ever stood on was Tramore Beach dunfanaghy, sometimes beauty isn't that far away.

We got a nice big house on the edge of the village between 2 families. Was expensive but not prohibitive.

But there's a world of seasonal housing in that area. Really can't imagine it's hard to pick up a small apartment at decent money.
