What was Byrne to do?  If he wraps he will get there too early. Byrne was onside and didn't move forward.

Unbeleivable decision on that red card. I know they are trying to make the game safer with regards concussions but can they not see the ball carrier simply ran into Beirne. It is not Beirnes fault imho, the ball carrier carries some of the blame as well.

Bit of a dirty diesel game combined with some awful officiating. Barrett calling the mark after he carried the ball a mile out of touch showed what a joke the whole setup is.

You can say Crowley has had a good game but he made that poor decision to side step on 60 mins got isolated and the resultant penalty led to the try and since NZ have been much better

NZ were pretty poor. A functioning lineout and scrum and it could have been so different. You do feel the team is too old and I'm afraid the likes of Osborne and O'Brien aren't nearly good enough and not many other young guys putting their hand up.

Ireland went into the game badly undercooked as expected. I took NZ to beat them by 15pts so not too far away. Needed this to be the last game and at home. Must be a pound or 2 for playing it here. That say Ireland need to use the nxt 2 years to blood about 10 players. Some guys who give us much dont have anything to offer in 2yrs time.
