Baile Brigín 2

They got €3m, Sport Ireland to administer, no FAI involvement.

The GPA got €1.5m extra.

Will be interesting to see how Ireland does at U17 World Cup - some very talented young players. This Victor Ozhianvuna who will move to Arsenal when he turns 18 for 2 million has the skills of a young Maradona.

I haven't seen much of him yet. But obviously he has something about him. Seemingly he personally destroyed Arsenal at some tournament as a kid and Arsenal decided then and there to sign him.

I don't know which is of more detriment to Portugal - Ronaldo or Martinez?

Possibly both? Is Ronaldo un-droppable? Has there ever been a player to outstay their time?

Disappointing had done so well till then..

At least it didn't come down to the disgraceful ref decision for the penalty.

Ultimately, you try and absorb that amount of pressure against opposition of this quality and nine times out of ten the dam will break.

It came down to the Referee dishing out Yellow cards and those Irish players having to watch their step.

I suppose RONALDO has to be at the next WC.
