Have people bothered reading the actual news reports at all? This is about the bigotry of the OO, not NDCC.

Of course not, some of them are probably called things like Jarlath or Oisin.

Yes, but why did NDCC cave to OO demands? That itself tells a story about NDCC.

Was mention of online comments as well. You wouldn't know what sort of abuse and comments the cricket club organisers were getting. Orange Order and its foot soldiers are a sinister outfit. Responsibility lies totally with OO bigotry.

Maybe the GAA kids were getting abuse at the camp, the cricket club members organising it likely were getting plenty as well.

Almost certainly to spare the kids from the whole event becoming a circus ffs. Do you think they should have just bulled ahead and risked having some f**king gammon in a bowler hat standing outside the gates screaming at a group of kids?

Read their statement there. Plenty of staunchness from all concerned and I don't think anyone needs to worry about a few fenian kids becoming a fifth column inside the club any time soon but the idea of engaging other clubs, including East Belfast GAA, to have their kids come and give cricket a go came from them.

They were trying to do something positive FFS.

When you see previous situations involving the OO and the violence it can generate.. they aren't just a crowd of aul boys in bowler hats... Drumcree etc.

Or perhaps more relevantly, Holy Cross. Primary school kids having piss hurled at them by a mob.

Actually? As in, f**king seriously actually? A discussion about an event at an overwhelmingly protestant and unionist cricket club and complaints about GAA attendance and we bring "their" soccer team and players into it?

Are we that f**king petty? Or stupid? If that's the case, the f**king cheek of the poster in question to open with "Bunch of Tards" FFS.
