Duine Inteacht Eile

I think the question being asked is "Have Rossa not already won the league?"

I can't see a postponed game from before the split being allowed to go ahead at this stage. Surely there is a cut off? Who knows?
And Rossa beat Dunloy in head to head score difference.

Or am I missing something else?

+ 5 to Rossa in the head to head even if they lose to Ballycastle.

There's no way Dunloy can complain about the missed game vrs Portaferry at this stage in the competition.

if rossa have won the league then fair play to them. cant imagine too many clubs really giving much of a dam. that being said a senior title in belfast wont go down well with the north antrim folk. (some of them anyway)

Na Glinntí Glasa

Our first league game away to Portaferry was cancelled due to a bereavement in the Portaferry camp.

Tbh no one cares about winning the league on our end. We have loughgiel at home tonight and then its onto the championship. There's been no chat about that first game ever being played

Leagues over as far as I'm concerned after tonight's games.

It's looking like Div1 is sorted, Rossa winners, Ballycran relegated with Glenariffe promoted.

We tailed off badly in the last two games, serious work needing done to pick it up for championship with Portaferry going in as odds on favourites even if they didn't pull up many trees in the league.

Is there not championship matches this coming week? Why are there not details on the county website or where can the fixtures be found?

On the master fixtures list on the Antrim GAA website I think the first games are the Wed 30th?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Will the West Belfast teams make much of an impression in this years senior championship?

Rossa are now finally reloaded with the Murphy brothers after their 3 year sabbatical trying to spread the hurling gospel to our fellow Down natives in lovely Liatroim and will they be able to kick on from their league form to take a scalp or two in North Antrim?

The Johnnies took Cushendall all the way in the semi-final last year, can they repeat or go one better?

Simple Answer is No.

Big Ears will be staying beside the coast.

Are Cushendall the favourites then?

I think Dunloy will win it this year.

In my opinion I'd have them winning it, saying that I've been known to be wrong from time to time lol

Gael-in-exile

It's hard to tell when you look at league results or reports. But I see Delargy has said they have always been short so far this year.
And Dunloy are favourites with PP, which may have been believed last year or the year before but after two years off the top that's a big enough shout.

imtommygunn

I do think if conditions were different last year Dunloy would have won the final. Cushendall are dropping off a bit but then Dunloy maybe are a bit too as they looked like they were unbeatable a few years ago. Loughgiel surely some day will win it again - not convinced they have the ability there yet.
