Question:

As there is a Club world Cup Tournament this year. Will there be a European Super Cup final between PSG and Spurs and if there is will they get to compete in Club World Cup Mini tournament like there there has been since 2000?

No this has replaced it... dont think Real Madrid participated in it this year.

UEFA Super Cup hasn't been replaced. Real beat Atalanta at the start of the season.

PSG play Spurs 13th August - Neither of those are playing in that Club World Cup so least will have a break until it. Cricket score to PSG hopefully

That competition tidily covered all that needs to be covered by a World Club cup competition.

It was the mini tournament that has been replaced that I was referring to.

Madrid never played in it this year as champions of Europe as far as I'm aware.

Super cup remains.

And PSG are in the Club World Cup; they are in Aletis Madrids group.

Sorry lad, I have not resold tickets.

Stubhub seems to be one of the main forums. Ticketmaster also offer resale in the states, including minutes after major events go on sale in the first place!

No worries, I'll do a bit more research. I paid abour $140 a ticket so would like to get some of that back. I did a quick look on ticketmaster and for a seat in the same section as mine, they are now going for $300 up to $800  :o

I didn't make it clear enough 😅... Can't understand how RB Salzburg are so high in the coefficient

Poor oul Arsenal...

Their (Salzburg) qualification was confirmed in April 2024 after Arsenal's elimination from the 2023–24 Champions League by Bayern Munich. Arsenal was the last remaining contender for Europe's final Club World Cup berth. With their exit, Salzburg, as the next highest-ranked eligible club, claimed the 12th and final UEFA spot

UEFA's allocation rules limit each country to a maximum of two clubs unless more than two different clubs have won the Champions League in the qualifying period. This restriction excluded higher-ranked teams like Liverpool, RB Leipzig, Barcelona, and Napoli, as their countries had already filled their quotas.

As a Liverpool fan, I'm delighted they'll be on the beach and then getting a full pre-season in while the likes of City, Chelsea and Madrid have to start late after a short rest.

Do Liverpool have many international players ?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Type of money Real Madrid need aren't they in big debt? Big money to already wealthy clubs in City and Chelsea.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Absolutely...this tournament runs to mid July, with the league starting a month later...the money is great and all but no pre-season after a 60 odd game season, with another possible 7 at the tournament is madness
