While I agree theres  a bunch of cowboys running the circus , that doesn't excuse the  state of the teams performances. Successive managers  have spend probably close to a billion  pounds  in recent years, yet the performances have been brutal for a long time , and there's hardly  a player  you'd seriously consider keeping.

Teams like Palace , Bournemouth, Brighton have  better setups and managers are getting a  tune out of  seemingly "lesser" players
To have a league season the same as any of those teams wouldn't change a lot in the terms of criticism right now.

Bournemouth 10th 45 points
Brighton 9th 48 points
Palace 12th 43 points

How and why they have allowed themselves to fall to 14th in the table is the main question and what can be done to at least do as they did under Ten Hag,Solskjaer,Mourinho where they finished 2nd or 3rd in the league and win trophies.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Man United v Athletic Bilbao
Tottenham v Lazio or Bodo Glimt. That's gone to penalties

Bilbao probably the toughest team left. Lazio struggling to beat a Norwegian team that are half way down their league. Spurs should come through that whoever wins the pens

bodø/glimt won on penalties. Great chance for Tottenham to reach the final. Bilbao have been my tip to win the competition when the knock out stages was made and the final is in Bilbao also.

Bilbao were poor enough against rangers over 2 legs, in fact rangers had chances to score but typically didn't take them.

They'll certainly be favourites if they reach the final
