As for finishing positions a great Liverpool manager had a line about that... now how did it go....

Utd won't get past the next game and if they did Spurs are better
Because united are always headline news. No matter how bad or good they are.
Manchester United are the Premier league.
Deal with it.

 ;D

That reminds me of the infamous Dirk Diggler 'It's my big dick' quote

quit yo jibbajabba

Man Utd are the Premier League. Might get this tattooed 🤣🤣🤣

Hear lads I am not sure if you know but you're actually not allowed to talk about utd on this discussion board, not on this utd thread and especially not on the premier league thread, even though Man Utd are the Premier League!

Jesus, the trolling has really been poor lately

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I'll happily state (and surprised it's not been posted) that I said (back in the day) when Ferguson leaves Utd, they will struggle but they'll still win the league before Liverpool.

Not the case lol..

Quote from: RedHand88 on April 21, 2025, 09:12:05 AMThe good news is that Ipswichs loss yesterday means United are safe from relegation for another season.
Good news for Man United, would be a shame to see them in the Championship seeing as they are the Premier League.

Leeds were also grabbing a lot of headlines during their demise at the start of the PL after winning the old Div1.

Their demise was due to a huge, leveraged debt they couldn't service.

Do you see any comparisons?

No comparison. United are so big they are always headline. If utd were relegated the same day Liverpool won the league, the headline would be utd.
If united were in the championship they would still be headline news.
Its just a fact.
I'd actually also say the media have an effect on the managers since Fergie. Prob bar Mourinho the rest couldn't deal with the constant glare.
