Jarlath always seems to want to add more to his speech, as if he knows lads personally, with his little add-on stories and info.

Was good at the start but very repetitive now imo.

Milltown Row2

Yeah, but I don't mind that too much, but he'd need to have a word with thon 8
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Lads Cormac Egan is good at football and loves running from deep...I wish I knew this before today...
Christ, Kildare learned nothing from the Tullamore defeat.
Offaly could have ghosted in a few times in the first half had they spotted the man inside.

Good front foot football and managed to pull out defenders out of place.

Good deserved win and that opening goal was a thing of beauty. Ciaran McManus walked past me past match and it was like one of his specials.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Yep, Cormac Egan.
He has serious pace and again, the new rules suit players like him.

A possible downside of a D3 final was that a loss would then take the shine off the victory in Tullamore two weeks ago. We went doubles or quits today and still came out on top.

It got a little uncomfortable in the end. But crucially, Kildare didn't have strong 2-point shooters to snatch it.
Kildare had a greater ability to win primary possession and had the bulk of possession, but Offaly's faster attacks won it.

Subtle dig or praise?!

More like a dig at the 3 teams he managed.
I very much doubt it. Tyrone won All Ireland year after he was let go, he walked out on Louth and Derry still in a freefall that he started...
It shouldn't need saying but obviously does. If you think Jarlath would be as unprofessional to have a public dig at either the counties or MH then you've got issues. Much to your disappointment I'd say.

We live in strange times.. a traditionist like Burns praising a manager being on his 4th county team.

imtommygunn

I doubt it was a dig at all. No matter what you say about MH he has done a lot of impressive stuff. If Burns was making petty digs it would be poor form as it's not like MH is the only one going round jobs so it would be petty and I don't think he's like that.

Fair enough... maybe that's where we're at.

6 national league titles with 3 counties.

Derry don't know how lucky they were. Hounded a man out after 3 bad games.

Some footballer is right. Fair play to Mickey for sticking him at wingback when he was a corner forward in underage Offaly teams. Although he does play wingforward for club doesn't he, so maybe not much difference. Jack Bryant and that O'Neill lad at 12 also look good. Would there be much players from that U20 panel on the senior panel yesterday? Seemed a young enough team

imtommygunn

It's no coincidence success follows him like him or loathe him. If anyone is going at mercenaries then the number one they should be looking at is your man Poacher.

Egan looked good in the u20s but haven't seen much since. Definitely looks like one to watch. I thought he was WHB on that sigerson team he was on too?

Judging off this year doesn't look like Derry what they did in '23. Also seen somewhere that bringing Lynch up the field against Donegal wasn't Mickey's tactic but Devlin's. People can blame Mickey all they want but if the players aren't there/don't want to play not much he can do
