Sec of Def leaks missile strike plans to the editor of The Atlantic a couple of hours before the attack on the Houthis...

Good luck finding it on Fox News.

Once upon a time that would be resignation shit.

If some lowly sergeant or lieutenant did it, they'd be behind bars awaiting court martial.

Their loathing and lack of understanding of Europe on full display in the messages also. What a f**king circus.

Of course. They'll brazen it out for a day or two, then the next thing will come up and the story will be dropped. There'll be no congressional investigations or subpoenas. Every institution in American life is rolling over and asking Trump to tickle their belly, whether universities, newspapers, law firms, corporations. One by one, everyone trying to duck down and avoid his gaze hoping that they will escape his ire.

The legal profession, in particular, is alarming. Good luck trying to get a decent law firm to defend you against Trump and his goons.

Look-Up!

That's the reality for now but can see them running out of road eventually. Even Biden's fiercest defenders eventually knew when the game was up, and he wasn't destroying international relations, ripping apart the federal government or doing untold damage to America's reputation.

Unless he's actually a genius, and we're all the fools, you'd imagine at some point even his dyed in the wool red voters will say enough is enough. Especially if the roosting chickens hit them very hard in their pockets.

One by one, each and every one of them will be thrown under the bus once things start to go pear shaped.

Marco Rubio and the real estate guy negotiating the Ukraine/Russia deal will both be a fault if nothing comes out of it, it will absolutely never be Trumps fault.

If there's anything we've learned from his first term it's that, no matter how hard they lick his hole.

If only, there is no situation in which the trump of cult will slow down. The only thing that would slow them would be a Jonestown-esque end.

Straws do break camels' backs though at some stage and the dollar speaks loudest in US. And while there is a cult of sorts, there is still a very sizeable middle ground who voted for him made up of plenty non-white minorities. And end of the day, no matter how bad a candidate Harris was she still got 75m votes. So at some stage I can see carnage for Republican congress reps and senators not to mention the in house administration fallouts that are bound to happen with Trump himself. He'll be a lame duck soon enough. How much damage he does in the meantime is the question.
