4 pretty good divisional round games I thought.

Off to see the Knicks for the nippers birthday in just over two weeks. Glad they're good again. Would've been child abuse in the '00s.

Only caught bits of the games.  It really looked like the Rams had the Eagles on the ropes, with the D line knackered but what a sack towards the end. Massive!

Also, that 2 point conversion drop by Andrews for the Ravens was a complete sickener. Not much between any of the teams left now.

We could now end up with something of an epic final between gunslinging Buffalo and Washington, or a damp squib affair between the game management first, game management always pairing of Chiefs and Eagles.

Of course I'm hoping for the former.

Buffalo probably the best team left in it now. Still it took a lot things to go their way last night - home advantage and weather, injuries, minor calls from refs, Andrews making is first drop in a million years - for them to see off the Ravens. They won't have a tougher game again this season, but they won't get that rub of the green either.

I'm honestly not sure if social media kickback played an influence after the Chiefs antics/bias, but last night's game was refereed like a manly sport, and it was much better for it.

The Rams shouldn't have even been in that position. The Eagles missed two PATs which is almost unheard of. The Rams got a few lucky breaks throughout the game (mostly self inflicted by the Eagles). The Eagles blew two great touchdown chances, one because Johnston moved early and one because Becton went downfield. AJ Brown had a poor game by his standards, and why the Eagles didnt target Goedert more I'll never know. The Eagles have the best roster in football. It wouldn't even be a question if Hurts wasn't so inconsistent. That said Daniels is an up and coming superstar, so the Commanders will be no push overs.

And it looks like McCarthy could be going to the Saints  ::)

Nerves shot. Should be able to tell the outcome of this game after our first offensive drive. If Hurts is fit, we will win. If not, they're big favourites.

Ah man, come on. "We" is bad enough about British soccer teams. Can't be at that with American sports franchises.

You should post less.

Jurgens not starting and Dickerson clearly injured is not helping but so far so good. Hurts looks fit. Still holds on too long for my liking!

There's definitely a few players with niggles but the extra week will hopefully help them heal up and give the big one another rattle. I'd love to take on the Chiefs to try to get revenge for a few years ago but it's great to still be alive going into February.

This will be the fourth Super Bowl since I started supporting Philly over 20 years ago. Lost to the Pats, beat the Pats and lost to the Chiefs so hopefully even that up in two weeks.

Eagles be favourites for the final on that performance

I went to my first Eagles game in 1987 so through quite a few near misses over the years. I'm not too bothered who we play in the Superbowl as either will be tough. Play like we did today and it should be a win. Dickerson looks OK, which is great. Hopeful.
