Sweet to finally beat those f**kers, but not looking good for Konate right at the end. Hope he hasn't done the knee!

Blowitupref

Some turnaround from the last Liverpool v Real Madrid game in Anfield (Feb 2023) Real Madrid won 5-2.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Brilliant performance.

At least if and when Trent leaves, they  have an excellent replacement waiting in the wings.

Bogman

Kelleher and Bradley were magnificent.
Great win.
Hopefully keep it going against City at the weekend but it will be a tough game.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed

Whatever about Vinicius, Madrid are seriously missing Kroos this year.

Shortest odds I've seen to win quadruple in November. Could give Manchester City awful trimming on Sunday. When Sporting, Tottenham can score four goals against Pep Guardiola team how many will Liverpool score 🤔

From the Bunker

Wouldn't get carried away - still great to beat a Real Madrid team that needed points.

In a great place to avoid the 2 extra games in the Knockout phase play-offs on the 11/12 & 18/19 February 2025.

9 or 10 easy in your world

How many penalties  has Kelleher saved lately?

Surely he has to get the frig out of Anfield  if  he's not  going to be no 1. He's wasted there

He saved one against Finland and one against Southampton but the rebound was scored. He failed to save one against England. That is 3 of his last 4 penalties saved.

Puckoon

Liverpool were immense today - fair play. Bradley BBC man of the match.

Yeah that's not how football works...

Great to see Kelleher save that penalty, not that many Irish men at big clubs these days so fair play to him.
It's a very strange situation he's in with Becker probably straight back into the team when he's fit and they have also signed the Valencia Goalkeeper. He really needs to leave unless he can be guaranteed the No.1 spot which doesn't look likely.
SHOCKING REVELATIONS!!!

Kelleher's problem has nothing to do with his ability, I think its because he's bland as in not a big personality, not a big name, he's from Ireland not a big nation and that he's always been a second choice

He'll do well elsewhere but will get less protection from other defenses and will be exposed more often like he was against England
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

His nationality has nothing to do with why he isn't first choice.  Liverpool have had Zimbabwean, Polish and American first choice keepers in the past, hardly footballing strongholds.

He is on a great run of form but Allison is a better keeper.

Hes on unfortunate that hes trying to outmuscle the best keeper in the world, and actually doing a pretty good job of it. There is plenty of big teams that I think he could easily be the no1 for.
