Will take place today live on RTE Radio One around 4pm on Saturday Sport.

Connacht

In 2025, Galway will travel to face New York at Gaelic Park in one quarter-final, while London host Roscommon at McGovern Park, Ruislip in another quarter-final.

There will be a draw for the other quarter-final fixture involving either Mayo, Sligo, or Leitrim.

The team that isn't drawn in the quarter-final will go straight into a semi-final, where there will be an open draw along with the three quarter-final winners.

Leinster

The four semi-finalists from the 2024 Leinster SFC - Dublin, Louth, Offaly, and Kildare are straight through to the quarter-final stage in 2025.

The remaining seven counties - Wicklow, Westmeath, Laois, Carlow, Longford, Wexford, and Meath will be placed in a bowl to get three first round pairings.

One of those seven teams won't be drawn and they will go into the quarter-final.

The three first round winners and the county that receives the bye will be drawn against the four teams, who reached last year's semi-finals in the last eight

Munster

The 2024 Munster finalists, Kerry and Clare, go straight through to the semi-final round in 2025.

Two quarter-final ties will be determined in a draw featuring Waterford, Cork, Limerick, and Tipperary, and there will be an open draw for the semi-finals between the Kerry, Clare and the two quarter-final winners.

Ulster

Armagh, Antrim, Monaghan, and Cavan have all played in preliminary round fixtures in 2023 and 2024 so they cannot be involved at that stage.

Two counties from Tyrone, Derry, Down, Donegal, and Fermanagh will feature in that game.

The winner of the preliminary round fixture will join the remaining seven counties in the quarter-final stage.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if cork are drawn on the same side as Kerry then Clare will only have to win 1 game against either Waterford, limerick or Tipperary to qualify for the all Ireland championship regardless of where they finish in the league?

Rossfan

Yep.
Similar to Sligo 2023 beating NY and London.
At least under the current system, the Provincial winner get their home game first so there's some little bonus for winning the Provincial, apart from the Cup and medals.

The proposed system for 2026 would see Clare having a home draw in Round 1, the same reward as say Donegal beating Monaghan, Tyrone, Derry and Armagh to win Ulster.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

That draw will make it easier for Derry to find a manager...

An Watcher

Geezer did the draw again this year although at least they'll get a tougher semi final than previous years.  Looking forward to getting a crack at the All Ireland champions provided cavan or antrim don't upset the apple cart

armaghniac

Donegal v Derry will be hard to get tickets for, perhaps a reason to get a season ticket.
As there won't be a Kerry v Cork Munster final there will be a wildcard in the Sam rounds.

Probably a traditional Armagh v Tyrone gig in Clones.
MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

ONeill

Good to avoid one of the big two until the final unless we slip up to Cavan or Armagh.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
