Talk of fifa banning the mini nazis from international football with a decision to be made today. Won't hold my breath though.

Killing the leader of Hizbollah changes nothing on the ground.

I really can't see how Irish troops sitting in the middle with their heads down is serving any purpose greater than the risk.  They are just collateral. Neither the Israelis or Hezbollah give one damn about them.

It's more a gesture than of any significant impact.

Israel and its Zionist government will do as it pleases so long as Biden lets them.

Iran may need to use bigger warheads in their missiles next time as Netenyahu doesn't give a shit for his own people either.

I'm just concerned that they'll get caught in the crossfire and it seems a pretty pointless risk at this stage. The whole thing is out of control.

Israeli warplanes pummelled targets in Beirut, southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley on Tuesday. But despite the escalating air and ground offensive, Hizbollah fired one of the largest rocket barrages of the past year at northern Israel during the day. The Israeli military said 85 rockets had targeted Haifa and other outlying areas in a single salvo, followed by a second of some 20 projectiles, after Hizbollah's deputy chief Naim Qassem gave a televised speech.

And Hamas fired off some from Gaza last week.

45,000 dead and probably twice that maimed and still War criminal Netanyahu and his arms and money suppliers haven't "won" their "war".
Why are these cnuts allowed to invade and bomb, murder etc a Sovereign State and the World looks the other way?
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Truthsayer

I know Joe Brolly is not flavour of the year on this board, but his podcast with Dion Fanning today on the atrocities being carried out by Israel, including the deliberate murder of children, is chilling. And how the media puppets have been told to deal with it. Depressing and stark listening...

It is very hard to fathom why. If you look in Lebanon they are doing the same too.

Something will eventually be a step too far but the question is what and when. It needs to be son.

Past that point already I'm afraid. That country is destroyed for generations. All the peace efforts of the 90s and since ruined by Netanyahu. You could call him an idiot but it was probably his design from day one.

He can call himself the proud architect of probably the greatest terrorist recruitment drive we've seen and that is saying something. All those orphans and kids who have seen everything and everyone they know blown to bits this last year. They will never forget and no prizes for guessing what a lot of them will be doing when they reach adulthood. Like I said peace process put back generations. Probably quickest solution now would be to wipe out every Palestinian so there is no one to avenge. I'm sure it's something he has thought of and wishes he could do.

It would appear that is what he's trying to do anyway.

I mean something will eventually be a step too far for the "international" world. I don't know what is given what has already gone on mind you but jesus where does it stop.

The presence of UN peacekeepers leaves Israel having to be more careful with how they conduct their assaults. If they were to pull out, Israel could escalate. As for now I think they know that the killing of UN peacekeepers would be a step too far even for them.

Heard an interview today from an IDF fella and the tone seemed to be we asked you to leave so if you're killed it's your own fault. We'll have to wait and see what happens
