Good to see Carrickmore ladies team doing laps of the pitch at every championship game at the weekend, any wonder they have a strong ladies side.
Anyone mistake the lads in fresh jackets on show at healy park for Arsene Wenger on friday night? Boys walking about with jackets longer than their own bodies?

I spotted them too, they looked to be from Newtownstewart (awful looking badge on them dresses they where wearing). Few of them also wearing caps, where they expecting "sun" at 8.30 on a Friday night in Omagh???. Probably walking around looking for more Dregish players to keep their club in Division 2.

Heard Paddy Hunter has pulled away from Tyrone TV last night at the County HQ Committee meeting

Colm McCullagh is a good appointment for Malachy O'Rourke's backroom team. Will have a very good knowledge of all the players in Tyrone. Hearing since the appointment McCullagh is bringing Tiarnan Sludden his fellow Dromore club man along with him who's knowledge of players U20 in Tyrone will be unmatched with anyone else in the county. Positive changes from Tyrone exciting 2025 campaign ahead!

Would think Dungannon have to be favourites are the last weekend of action. One major concern for them however would be the roasting McElhome gave to young Devlin. I see he is participating in the Clarkes quid games, he should probably focus less on it and more on his football. Expect Ben Gormley to get the big marking role against Trillick as he seems far more reliable which will allow Devlin to fist pass and pose for the cameras.

Came on this message board as a neutral from Down to read a bit about some good weekend games, only to see ridiculous levels of personal abuse aimed at a ref. Some really pathetic people posting on here. Having watched that particular game, the better team won regardless of what anyone thinks of the ref. Some people need to catch a grip of themselves.
Anyway besides that, the intermediate games I got to see at the weekend were great entertainment, plenty of open and direct football played. Credit to those teams for how they approached their games. Watched a few of the senior games too, and bar the Trillick game they were also excellent entertainment. Our own senior and intermediate championships in Down have failed to capture the imagination, and so being able to watch the coverage from Tyrone games was a bonus.

Some finish to that game.
Despite being entirely neutral I was happy to see Dungannon win after the carry on of the Loughmacrory bench in the dying minutes.

The Loughmacrory supporters behind me were very hard to listen to this afternoon.

Be hard to listen to them townie cu**s. Lucky against Donaghmore, Lucky against Loughmcrory. Luck will eventually run out

I disagree. Dungannon were only lucky against Donaghmore because they drew them in the first round. Never looked like losing even though they were in 3rd gear. But yes, lucky enough to beat Loughmacrory. Didn't play well but still managed to beat them.  That's the type of luck teams need to win the O'Neill Cup.

Game of the weekend will be the Errigal v Clonoe game.
Expecting to see Clonoe try and drop that high ball in all game, Errigal look weak anytime they're exposed to it and Clonoe clearly have the men to utilise for it in the McClure's, McNulty, Skeet or even Ryan Morrow.

Any early favourites for the Macrory cup this year? Due to start soon. Omagh CBS going for 3 in a row, when was the last time that was done? Cookstown surely to bring in a few new players from less economically developed schools such St Joes Coalisland and the "Dean" Carrickmore. Tyrone schools will be there there abouts again keeping the strong production line coming. I see St Joes Donaghmore are maintaining their position in the competition, good going for a girls schools...

At the end of the day once you become a referee you surely expect to receive public scrutiny...

Yea, public. By peple not afraid to show their face or share their name. Personal abuse posted to the internet from behind a cloak of anonymity isn't "scutiny", it's just the action of a cowardly little mouthpiece.

If your concern is genuinely about the standard of referring, and you don't want to get up off your ass to do something construcive about it, maybe write an email to the relevant person on the county board. Have the balls to put your actual name at the bottom of it though. Any maybe explain the decisions of the referrees you have an issue with and make suggestions about how to improve standards, rather than just sending an email merely listing who your top five "stupidest referee's in the county" are. Oh and you don't have to put an apostrophe before the 's' in every plural word you write.

Think you're missing the wider point, which is that when there are so many people telling you to cop yourself on and drop the nasty, personal anonymous abuse of GAA volunteers, maybe it's time for a bit of self-reflection.
