Deserved defeat or be it somewhat flattering margin of defeat. If you are to lose these high profile games you at least make yourself hard to score against. United was a mile off in that regard with all three goals coming from United having possession of the ball and cheaply giving it away, Casemiro awful for the first two and rightly subbed off at half time and Mainoo poor on the 3rd goal. Liverpool are among the best on turnovers and exploiting errors and three goals from three shots on target highlighted that today.
