Looked exactly like that. Could see it coming the way he ran up.

Yes Rashford,McTominay wasted big goal scoring chances before the goal finally arrived from Garnacho.  City's goal on 89 minutes was their first effort on target and at that stage United had a winger trying to play full back (Pellistri) and defended poorly on that goal.  When you get to sudden death on shootouts you tend to get fellas that aren't keen on taking one and Evans looked like that before blasting the ball over the bar.

Pre-season done and dusted now and was a decent work out today before the new season gets up and running next weekend.

Some substitutions there. 2 center backs at Nil Nil at home, first game of the season.

I cannot get my head around Rashford still at the club and playing 90 minutes.

(A legitimately held title unlike Dinny's)

Worked out well enough  ;D

Got out of Jail there no doubt. Media would have been riding him hard on why his team wasn't fit and ready for game 1.

Milltown Row2

Utd had plenty of real chances to win that game more, not their best 11 out there, no structure yet that's visible.

Garnacho will remember that miss for a while!

United were lucky to get the win in the end. Fulham deserved a point. Rashford is still ineffective. Mainoo looked tierd after the euros.

Cunny Funt

Hard earned and deserved win in the end although gave Fulham hope of picking up at least a draw mainly due to United's lack of a clinical edge  Mazraoui good on his debut and Zirkzee off the bench to score the winner. Improvement on last season when lost and conceded two goals at home to Fulham.

How TF is Rashford still getting a game.

Surely ETH should be making a statement about work ethic and culture at this stage by sitting him on his ass, no matter who else he has to play.

Captain Scarlet

I don't see the point of false 9s if they seem to cause your own team more issues than the opposition...
Also on Sky last night the comms said about Mount: "they need to keep him fit and find a role for him in the team"

Like why? He is dirt and has been for years. Even his last year at Chelsea.

Likewise there seems to be a need to protect Casemiro in midfield.

These lads clearly are not up to it.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Milltown Row2

Thought Casemiro was fit and one of Utd best players last night..

If we are looking at last years performance Utd looked decent in the last two games.

Fulham ran through midfield at times last night. A defensive Midfielder badly needed, has been for years.

Does the Sander Berge deal to Fulham going through scupper the McT move?
