No but there will be dual citizenship in accordance with GFA for 6Cos people so there will have to be a designated area.
The 6 and 26 as 2 home rule territories in an Irish Confederation.
Certain things under the Home Rule assemblies and bigger stuff under the Confederation Government.
See Switzerland, Belgium for example
2026 the year of the 9 Cups

I thought, by the recent chat, that Reform would beat the Tory party into 2nd place.

Reform could finish second or get absolutely nothing at all. Hard to know what will work out there.

They feel a bit like they are significantly over amplified. Guess time will tell.

Also hard to know how busted a flush the tories are. Lib dems might end up challenging them for 2nd (or 3rd depending on reform) or people may chicken out and they'll get far more votes than predicted.

Unlikely. The Brits are probably just as stuck in the mud when it comes to elections as we are.

Reform have many complete looneys, they just have not had the councillors etc to get decent candidates, whereas many of the Conservative MPs are solid representatives and not at all like Boris.

What is the point in wasting your vote on a candidate who won't take their seat.

I don't think that's accurate any more. Johnson cleared out voices of sanity. In reality the current crew wouldn't be much different to reform- some of their current incumbents really are the dregs of society.

I presumed it would be on here but honestly couldn't be bothered trawling through all the pages here.

To answer your question in my honest opinion. Just because a SF MP doesn't take their seat doesn't mean they don't work for their constituency. On the other hand if you ever watch politics live you'll see that the second there is any motions for Northern Ireland the chamber empties out to SDLP, Alliance and DUP MP's and about 4 or 5 80 year Tory MP's who are just waiting about for the canteen to open. Northern Ireland is nothing but an irrelevance to Westminster unfortunatley.

I'd say that's typical for Welsh and Scottish motions
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

They sit on Westminster committees, they run constituency offices as usual. The only thing they can't do is enter the fancy talking shop.

The place is empty when they speak anyway. Did you ever see the photos from it? Nobody in the place.

Only reason people go there is for a peerage I reckon.

Not one f**k could most of the english mps give.

It's not the only reason. There are several go for prestige, there are ones who would genuinely believe they're making a difference etc. The latter is a quality very few politicians have these days mind you - here or anywhere.

I think Farage's comments last weekend about Putin and Ukraine have actually stalled Reform's progress.
