VAR right not to intervene. Armstrong held jersey and jumped in front of defender. Defender was very clumsy and clearly made contact. Could argue it both ways so let the ref make the decision and get on with it. The way VAR should be.

Hungary player made contact before Armstrong grabbed the jersey. We'd be screaming for a penalty if it was Ireland in that position. Penalty for me.

Actually watching that back it's the knee on the calf. That's a cert of a penalty.

And yes it is such a Scotland thing to do

Bbc all saying it was a certain penalty. They would be saying the opposite if the boot was on the other foot and Johnny Foreigner had jumped in front of a Scottish defender and dived while dragging the defender down.

FFS its a stonewall peno. The jersey pull comes after he was taken out at the knee. 2 poor teams but that's irrelevant. The ref and then VAR f**ked up tonight
