I seen nothing at the weekend that shows Derry have sorted the mess out. Against very middling opposition they were lucky not to cough up another few ridiculous goals, the confidence was on the floor and only a late goal saw them to safety. McStay seemed very focused on the next challenge after drawing with the Dubs while Harte is going over nonsense about critics and empty vessels.. a tactic he uses to employ a siege mentality. Can't see  Derry win...

McStay in his interview after the match yesterday had a right good dig at those on a Mayo gaa podcast that suggested Mayo wouldn't be going out to beat Dublin and would contain energy for this knock out tie. Wafflers he called them.

Maybe different interview I seen. Straight after game seemed very focused, albeit disappointed, and ready to prepare for next week...

It's great to have these preliminary QF's coming up to keep the interest going, but the big guns of Kerry, Armagh and Dublin are not going to be losing any sleep over the winners.

Derry have some very promising youth coming through for sure, but by the time they arrive McKaigue, McKindless, McFaul, Rogers, Bradley will have departed the arena
And the likes of Glass & McGuigan will be past the sell by date
