It's do or die for us now.
Not great yesterday as all the old failings manifested -  no defence or midfield, slow slow sideways, backwards.
Yet we could have stolen a draw in the end. :-[

A 2 week rest and hopefully a win over Cavan and probably last 12 exit again.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Roscommon should beat Cavan by at least 5/6 points after creditable enough showings against Dublin and Mayo - teams Cavan capitulated against meekly enough. Written off now, and disowned by our utterly jaded supporters once again, will suit these players' frail and brittle psychology, so I expect they'll show something, but a win is beyond them. And a dubious prize in any case, with another chastening public haircut likely against any quarter-final opponent.

They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

Saturday 15th for Cavan v Roscommon 5pm in Pearse Park Longford.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Nice handy trip for us.
Great to see the Hyde getting a game.
Hopefully a decent number travel from both Counties.

Capacity of Hyde 18,890? You'll never fit all those famed travelling Dubs in there? You do know the Dubs will travel anywhere in large numbers?

weareros

I had a dream that Mayo were finally beaten in da Hyde. Then I woke up and saw it was the Dubs that done it.

That was the restricted capacity, redevelopment work done since and it's 23,900 now

Still won't be enough room. The Dubs travel in large numbers, especially in the Championship. Just look at the statistics. They love a good journey across the Shannon.  ;D

The Dubs can't even find Croke Park on the satnav lately

Rossfan

7 or 8,000 of them went to Breffni last weekend.
I'd imagine those and the 4 or 5,000 Rhus who travelled to the Hyde last Saturday will turn up anyway.

I'm guessing 18 to 20k will attend that Hyde Park round 3 game and I might be optimistic on that figure given the attendances in this group so far for both Dublin and Mayo games.

Roscommon v Mayo - 8,597

Mayo v Cavan - 9,197

Dublin v Roscommon - 11,176

Cavan v Dublin - 9,028

Not much life to this thread perhaps my expected attendance figure is over optimistic for Sunday?  First up Cavan v Roscommon whereby both hope to avoid a group stage exit.

Best of luck to our lads.
This time last year the wheels came off our wagon. We've been limping along so far this year.
Hopefully we get the wheels back on tomorrow.
