This is why the internets great
Apologies for the hyperbol, but there was a some very vocal people on here about how great an idea it was, how the boys deserved it etc... now a few weeks later they knocked sh*t out of eachother, players gone off the rails missing training, and getting hammered 3 games in a row. Not that the holiday (sorry it was a 'training camp' wasn't it haha) is the only issue, the fact we have a few injuries, an average goalkeeper and mind boggling tactics don't help either.
Armagh were also missing arguably their two best players this year murnin and mackin.

As I said , 'they should have went to Bundoran'

We look like we're running on empty. Baker and Murray the only that looked focused in that game.

Could have had a few pints in the Emerald bar and sang a few songs. Then go down to the beach for a wee dip.

The only boys that have turned up for the championship, alot of the team have dipped massively in their personal performances from the league.

Interstellar

Does anyone know what has happened in the derry camp. It's more than fatigue or injury. The gamelan is just not being implemented in defence, midfield and attack. Players are not interested any more and want the season over.

Murray a mile of fitness for a county player, he was puffing before half time. Thought only Baker really stood up today, with a number of players looking way of the pace. Would O'Rourke had got a more stronger panel in place?

What happened? Did something happen over there that ruined morale? Hope it wasn't anything that broke anyone/anything apart

outside of the Glen boys who didn't want to commit who else should be there that would make a difference?

What are the odds on O'Rourke being at the helm beginning next season? It would seem to be the ideal time.

Two scenarios:
Beat by Westmeath, season over, night night
Sneak a win, draw Louth in the preliminary quarter and get beat!

I think we'll be seeing Rory back next year by all accounts

Quote from: giveherlong on September 19, 2023, 09:42:20 PMYou'd have to think that the new setup will feel like a step down for the Glen players when they rejoin the panel going from O'Rourke/Porter to Devlin and Harte.

What way did G Devlin finish up with Slaughtneil? Did he win a championship and was given the road then?

Cough, cough
