Quote from: J70 on June 01, 2024, 09:45:54 PMIt's getting as boring as City and the PL.

And wait till Mbappe arrives.

With Mbappe on one wing and Vinicius on the other and Bellingham down the middle they will be impossible to contain. Only City will be able to stop them.
Next season they will line up with Vini wide left, Endrick wide right bellingham the 10 behind mbappe. Very scary. Although they are losing kroos in midfield and possibly modric

If they keep stopping Manchester City from winning any more Champions League titles then good.

City and Madrid way out in front. Others run them close, but they always have that edge in the end.
It's not as if they steamrolled Dortmund. They had their chances and didn't put them away. Typically that means defeat against the big guns. But I agree with your main point.

Not doubting his ability and he's still very young but god the English are going overboard with the hyping up of Jude Bellingham. Watched majority of Madrids QF, SF and final and felt he had no major impact in any of the 5 games. By the looks of it he has had a good season in La Liga which in fairness I don't watch a big pile of. The way the English are going on you'd think he was Ronaldo and Messi all mixed into the one player.

To be fair one of the team on TNT last night said he didn't really show up for a lot of the latter games in the UCL. It might actually have been Rio Ferdinand and it's not often he says anything insightful.

I've watched plenty of Madrid games this season, both domestic and European, and for the majority of the season he was outstanding. He won player of the year in la liga

Saying that, he has definitely slowed down this last month or more, hasn't had the same impact on games. Not sure if he is struggling with an injury (seen him stretching his calf from about the 60th minute), or if it's an age thing, you forget he is only 20

the lad is very talented but jesus he's 20 years of age.

Bellingham has tailed off a bit compared to earlier in the season, likely through overuse and exhaustion, but pretending he's anything other than flat out incredible is madness. He's a ridiculously good player.

Really looking to the Campions League this Season

I've absolutely no idea what constitutes a good or a bad draw this year, but as a villa fan I am just delighted to be involved. On the face of it I think Celtic's draw is quite favourable.
